With gray your choice for a color are almost unlimited. What colors do you like and from there we can narrow down a color that would work with the grays.

I like blue, and was planning Wedgewood Gray (to me more blue than gray) for our bedroom because we have it now and love it. And the exterior will be a blue gray as well - darker than wedgewood I think. So I don't want to overdo it with the blue/gray thing. I was thinking of sea salt (green) for bathrooms. I don't like yellows or yellow-leaning colors like oranges or greens. Not a fan of brown/beige.

We will tile the kitchen backsplash and have uppers on both sides so there will only be some paint on the kitchen wall above the backsplash on the sink wall, unless we just tile all the way up. We haven't chosen tile yet, we will be painting before cabinets go in.

i had this crazy idea of some kind of purple, like eggplant, but we chose light colored cabinets to brighten the small kitchen so I don't want to ruin the effect. The patio slider faces west, so it's mostly afternoon light.

We chose symphony gray counters. I definitely don't want walls in this area gray.

Are you looking for something like BM's Pale Oak, a warm grayish-creamy color. It looks nice with my white dove uppers that I am planning. It is greyer than the chalk white I also considered.

I'm actually thinking of something with a bit more color since the floors and counters are grayish, but I'm unsure what undertones will come out in the symphony gray counters. I ordered a sample from caesarstone so I can look at it with paint fan deck but it may not come in time - painters start next Monday!
