I have to share something incredible
Comments (7)Andrea, I am unable to partner in the purchase but I did make a modest donation. I hope you raise enough money to meet your goals or find a wealthy benefactor to pick up the entire expense. Brenda - thank you for bringing this to the attention of the pond forum community. Comments (5)Expanding on what others have said, the estrogen creams and gels for skin, as opposed to vaginal, use are prescription forms, made up by a compounding pharmacist to a prescription written by your own doctor (the pharmacist can help him with that if he is unfamiliar with how to write this kind of prescription). There are compounding pharmacists in Canada and they can make up these forms of HRT, but they are somewhat harder to locate (less common) than in the US. The main difference between using a topical cream/gel and using a patch is that the patch gives a steady release over the life of the patch (more or less) where the topicals give more of a curved effect, peaking after the dose and then dropping off till the next dose. Whether or not that makes a difference to any particular woman seems to be an individual thing: some dose with topicals once or twice a day and do fine; others have to go to multiple doses to avoid too much variation in hormone levels. The vehicle (there are a number of different cream bases, not to mention the gel) and where you put it (fatty tissue versus not) also affect the length and shape of the absorption/circulation curve. So, as with everything else menopausal, there's a lot of personal variation and you may have to experiment some to find the best one for your own body. There are, as Leigh notes, no effective over the counter variations on estrogen creams and gels....See MoreNeed your thoughts - Change to cash sale?
Comments (10)I wouldn't rely on getting much help from a bunch of strangers online. Your situation definitely needs to be handled by your lawyer. I can understand why they would be offended by asking for a criminal background check. It may not be that they have a criminal history, it's just the fact that you don't trust them is what is insulting. If they do indeed have a criminal history, maybe it was something small, they already served their time, it's done, it's over with, it will never happen again, it's embarrassing - and it's none of your business. I understand your desire to have a full financial statement, and yes I understand that is what a bank would want, but maybe they don't trust you with this info? This is a land purchase with a payment plan. Are they actually going to be occupying the land before they actually own it in full? Why does this contract have to be all that difficult? You can just keep it simple and say they pay $X per month, $X penalty for late fees, and failure to pay after a certain time frame results in forfeiture of all money paid, and land can then be sold to someone else. They don't own the land until it is paid in full - so why would you care if they stopped paying? I would have no idea what legal repercussions you could have to deal with if their money is originating from illegal activity. It's not like you are business partners or helping anyone launder money, they are just buying land. I don't see how you could be held liable for anything. Again, you need real legal advice. If you have a gut feeling something is not right, and if you feel they must have something to hide by being so offended, then just don't get involved....See Moreworthy
