I am a fabricator.

Cambria, Zodiac, and LG are all made on Breton process lines. Marketing hype aside, there is literally no difference in the physical properties of the material so all things being equal pick the cheapest one. HOWEVER, if the bids are from different fabricators you need to do your research and make sure the quality of their work is comparable. A low price from a poor fabricator is no bargain. You might also check for a Hanstone supplier, their pricing is very competitive and their color option for white are excellent.

Given a thread on Silestone, which supposedly doesn't quantify acceptable installation specs, I'd consider that, too.

I wish there were a list of what lippage and seam width is acceptable.

Have you considered Caesarstone?

I am biased toward Cambria since it's made in my home state. And we've had it in our house before. If budget wasn't a consideration, I'd choose Cambria.

what are your specs for installation, such as seam width, lippage, matching of slabs, and uniformity of slabs, incl resin pools?

I just installed Cambria in my new kitchen and I am very happy. I have 2 seams that are undetectable and a discovered chip was repaired onsite during installation and now cannot be found. I do suggest choosing pattern, as they hide more imperfections. Since you have white cabinets, you could really go in a lot of directions with Cambria. I am partial to their Waterstone collection (I went with Bellingham).

Cambria is definitely my wish list and NeoLith is my dream list. Unfortunately Cambria is about 34% higher in price and I didn't even try to price Neolith. LG is $200 more than MSI or Compac on a 35 sq ft, but I think the final sq ft is about 42-45. I chose LG because it is using Breton equipment to make quartz and has a manufacturing facility in Georgia (Made in USA). NoSoccerMom bought out a good point regarding seam width, lippage, and the uniformity of slabs which I am going to follow up with the fabricator.

The fabricator is not the biggest or most advertised in town but it has been around since 1936. It is not the cheapest but my guts and research tell me to with the them.

I chose LG Delani for 3 reasons: a) using Brenton process, b) manufactured in Georgia and c) cost.

For me LG and Cambria would have been the same price, so its pretty variable and I wouldn't consider Cambria a "premium" product compared to other quartz brands. I used LG, no complaints.
