What's your favorite hand lotion for those garden weary hands?
Comments (35)I've had good luck with many different brands & types- it seems like the key or common ingredients are shea butter (miraculous) goat's milk lanolin vitamins A & E aloe I've had excellent results using aloe straight from the plant for a lot of problems other than burns. Last week I had an insect bite that turned red, got chapped, flaked, & *itched* like fire. I tried every single remedy in the medicine cabinet with no effect, & then... I accidentally broke off an aloe vera leaf. Figuring I didn't have anything to lose, I squeezed the fluid onto the spot & the itch stopped immediately & the place started to heal....See Morehomemade lotion
Comments (11)Cool! Thanks for the quick reply. I bought both scents of lotion just in case. I'll see which I like best. Also, I tried the Delon vitamin e cream on my hands, and it does a pretty good job of moisturizing my skin alone as is. Smells pretty good too. I am so glad I went to the $ store. I found a stash of violet scented cologne. I love the smell of violets, and a long time ago I had bought some nice violet perfume, but it was very pricey$$! This one I found at the dollar store was only $4, and it smells really good! I figure for every day use, you can't beat the price. If anything, perhaps it can be used for spritzing the house aromas away, LOL! Yaya7...See MoreHand lotion for guests - suggestions please!
Comments (16)Since it's a wedding I would want something a little more upscale in a pretty bottle. Not sure if you would find unscented, but places like Home Goods, TJ Maxx, etc sell nice lotions. I have a set from HG that is lemon...hand soap and lotion on a little white tray..not expensive. You could also try the Body Shop or Bath and Body Works. I also like the idea of a pretty basket with trial sizes of lotions, mouth wash, hand wipes, etc, I think I would also put out those pretty paper hostess towels available at places like BBB(you could look for lotion there too). Your hand towel may not look so nice after a lot of people have used it....See MoreWhat is your favorite sunless tanning lotion?
Comments (11)I love Bare Escentuals self Tanner in the big bottle w the brush applicator, it produces such a deep rich natural color. it does not smell bad, actually smells like almonds. I put it on an hour before bed, let it dry, put on PJ's that are white and get into pastel yellow bed sheets. it never ever stains clothes or bedding. i got it thru QVC i think it was around $50 but i've had the big bottle for 2 yrs now. i use it year round here in orlando, once or twice a week. i love the brush applicator, you can apply the tanner w/o getting it on your hands and get the brush rinsed w/o getting your hands wet. when I am done w this bottle I am trying St Tropez Dark foaming tanner that they use on DWTS. it applys w a mitt. i spend alot of $ on products, facials and services to look 20 yrs younger I am not going to add to my ageing w getting a real tan. I had skin cancer @ 22 from using tanning beds in my teens so now finally in my 40's I have given up on a real tan LOL ~ liz...See Morealways1stepbehind
