I'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Tues July 18
I went on a whale watching tour yesterday evening with a group of photographers. It was on a little zodiac (room for 10 people including the captain). It's the first time I have been out. All the others have been out many times over the years and they all said that last night was the most whales they had ever seen. I guess I picked a good time to go. It was amazing. I'll share pictures throughout the week.

Comments (8)I've seen several monarch caterpillars this summer. Captured one and kept it in a covered vase until it went into a chrysalis. Then I took the lid off, and about 10 days later it had emerged and apparently flew away. (Sorry if photos are previously posted.) The gold trim around the chrysalis is beautiful. 9 years agolast modified: 9 years agoBaby blue herons, in human years=age 21. The parents kept flying by refusing to hunt for them. Tough love. They did stop preening and fly off.....eventually. Kids!
