Very nice, I always loved making crafts but there just does seem much interest anymore. I am sure it is all these imports from China that killed crafting. But, if you have any interesting patterns that you would like to share, I would love to see them.

If the space gets crowded ... ... you can have the TV installed in the ceiling, over the bed. Maybe I should dig up some more dirt this fall, get some more pots, and some growl ights - (that's really "grow lights") - that'd mean fresh veggies through a longer season. As it is - no fresh tomatoes, yet (except of the "fried green" variety). ole joyful P.S. Would you believe ... "hibernation" ... as a routine winter project for bears? o j P.P.S. Question: Did you hear how the costumed bear in the circus act felt when, due to poor maintenance, his suspenders failed and his pants fell down? Answer: He was em-bear-assed! o j

Wow interesting! Wish mine would sell for that lol. His reminds me of stacked rocks. I have always had a fascination with stacked rocks, especially when you see them in totally unexpected places. There's so much inspiration on etsy. I can spend way too much time there. I have bought a few small signs from one person on etsy. They would be very easy to do. You can buy the blank wood already cut into shapes at hobby stores. Paint them a solid color and apply stick on letters. I have bought the wood cut outs in Fleur-de-lis shapes and glued buttons on in various colors and shapes. I did a lot of button art for a while. Google button art its on pinterest too. They are beautiful framed.

I think decoupage is a skill, I tried it last summer and although my project did not turn out badly, neither was it the beautiful examples that people had posted of their own work in the thread at the time. I think I am going to use fat quarters and velcro. The advantages are that if I want to change to another pattern or back to the original I can, and also with some effort a particular piece can be repositioned. There are companies selling packaged fat quarters for crafts so I ordered some on Etsy. I am going for a shabby chic bedroom look. Not everyone loves that but I do, but I could also see wanting to change back to neutrals at some point.
