Here are some of the ones from the past two days:

VIRGINIA PECK group (An oldie but a goodie. I love the white midrib)

PLATO'S PUZZLE: Pattern becomes more consistent over time.

TOODLES AND DOODLES

ALIENS IN THE GARDEN

LUNAR EMPIRE (Scapes are like trees - thick and sturdy. Rebloom scapes are already showing. I grow a couple of Mike Derrow's intros and they are all performing well - Pink Stripes and waiting for Transylvanian Tango to bloom, and its scapes are like trees as well.)

FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE - slow to increase

POLAR FIZZ (Bennett Intro)

BARNEY (fantastic purple)

Dracula - a great dark one. Increase is moderate - makes huge fans.

NIGHT WINGS - The blackest one I grow.

Lovely collection of blooms! Barney is a beautiful purple, what a perfect picture. Lunar Eclipse and Lava Flow catch my eye. Virginia Peck, Polar Fizz, and Willow Dean Smith are lovely pastels.

Hot Lava = Blooming way down in the foliage. I may have to move it to another spot.

Seedling (slugs got to it. There are more of those buggers this year than I can remember. I also did not get a chance to put Epsom Salt in the garden. I probably still can. I really don't know if it does anything to the slugs, but since this is the first year I haven't done it, I am seeing more slugs on blooms.)

TAKE MY BREATH AWAY FFO (Has a lot of chicken fat and did not hang up. Will have to wait for subsequent blooms to see if the spotting clears up)

Love the fat edges on Take My Breath Away, but it seems as if the ones with intense edging may have other problems such as splotching. I have a theory that the bubbled edge may hold the bud open too much as it is getting ready to bloom. The seal isn't tight and leaves room for dew, rain or insects to get inside over night. Just a thought.......Really like Virginia Peck. Will have to check that out. I also like Lunar Empire (nice note you gave on the size of the scapes), and Barney. The bloom looks very large and well opened..........Maryl

Thank you for sharing those beauties with us. I received Joan Derified as a bonus this year and your photo of it makes me realize I was lucky! I love Mary Alice Stokes and Key To My Heart...they have been on my wish list for awhile and your pics are gorgeous. Fairest of Them certainly lives up to its name! Nice group of pics. Coral Majority I find is difficult for me to capture the true color of it. Filled to Overflowing has struggled here for many years. Far From The Madding Crowd looks like one of Curt's other intros "Capacity For Wonder". Neon Flamingo is interesting and I've kept it on a wish list but waiting to see how it looks in different gardens during different climate cycles.

All of these seedlings are possible introductions. Chomp X Mitch Lynd is on the small side--about a 5 inch flower. Never Too Late X Mitch Lynd is a 5 inch flower too and also a late bloomer. This seedling is blooming late. It is Sonoran Desert Rose X Apache War Dance. So far, the first two flowers are trying to double. This will be an introduction for next year. It's Ebony Jewel X Baracuda Bay. It's vigorous with a good bud count. The color is pretty sunfast in our climate too. That's all for me. Nancy

Lunar Max looks and sounds great. Thanks for the detail on it and the other Derrows. The only one of his I grow is The Tribble With Blue... if I had more space, I would definitely get another one or two of his.

I have a lot of heavily ruffled yellows & tell myself I don't need more, but I really like Lunar Max. Take my Breath Away really is ruffled, it will be pretty with a nice bloom. I'll be interested to see how it clears up, that color seems to be prone to splotching in my garden, combined with the ruffle...

TAKE MY BREATH AWAY was supposed to be OCEAN ROAR. The seller on the LA sent me the wrong plant. When I contacted the seller a year later, they no longer had OCEAN ROAR so I was able to choose one of their introductions. I took a picture of that plant and it was again the wrong plant. Hopefully the correct plant will bloom in a few days. I would not have purchased TAKE MY BREATH AWAY, due to all of the "chicken fat" because they usually do not open well for me.

Nancy, I also say the same thing about yellows. I have plenty of them, but there is something about them that just grabs my attention. They just really show up well from a distance and in the shade. LUNAR EMPIRE is also well budded.

Wow, you have a lot still opening. I got rid of all the "chicken fat" ones here. It will be interesting to see how it is in later blooms. Barney looks very good. Does it always canoe or is it just the weather? Lunar Empire has the pop of yellow. Nice group.

Lunar Empire apparently grows much for you than me. It's never been particularly well-budded here, and it has never rebloomed here. I do love its flowers though. I always love your photos of Night Wings - so dark and velvety!

My favorite of these is Lunar Empire with it's lacey edges and Aliens in the Garden. Barney also looks good. Like Julia, I also got rid of ones with 'chicken fat' edges. They are a disaster here.

Barney and Dracula, but I also really like your seedling that the slugs got to - such a wonderful shade. Am having slug and earwig issues here and have been trying diatomaceous earth.

Chicken fat - an apt description. That's just what that looks like!

There are so many of these I like. I like white midribs, love the Bennetts, Night Wings and Dracula. And of course Lunar Empire. Nice ones!

Hot Lava caught my eye today, hope it does better if no when you move it. I have a noid that looks like Virginia Peck, I still like it. Nice seedlings, great pinks.

Barney does not always canoe. Today, there were three open blooms without the canoeing effect.

Lunar Empire and Barney are the ones that catch my eye. Barney is a gorgeous and reliable plant here, but I have to move it this year which makes me a bit nervous. I really like it.
