Help: I Need Ideas For Side Entrance Planters !
Comments (11)Kswl and Flattie, first off I just want to welcome both of you to the holiday forum. It's allot of fun here during this season with everyone posting their lovely pictures. Kswl, your side entrance is so nice, I can tell you have a lovely home. What a shame those trees died, they sure were pretty and you could have easily added Christmas decs to them. How about putting your junipers in there, and then filling in at the base with poinsettias? I've seen that done somewhere--maybe in a magazine or on Karen's inspiration album. Sure hope you will take pics of your Christmas decor to share with us here--then we will feel like we were able to be on your home tour too! ;o) Luvs...See MoreNeed help choosing new side entrance exterior door
Comments (27)Looking back at your current living room color... I think it looks nice. I think what isn't working for me are the couch pillows. I'd use some that have a slight pattern ( 2 of those) and a solid. I would probably lose the middle pillow. I hope you don't mind my suggestions...See Moreneed some help selecting new color for garage and entrance door
Comments (8)any Blue will compliment the orange tone of the brick. They are opposite on the color wheel. I would be creative with the panels in the garage door and entry door. Two different blues in the same family. with a bit of white as a highlight contrast to make it more contemporary....See MoreWould love some help! Not loving how my entryway turned out. Any ideas
Comments (79)I love everything you chose! I think your issue is actually arrangement. Instead of centering the bench, push it all the way to the right to where the plant sits currently. I'd keep your existing mirror and add several more in a grouping over the bench, a small gallery wall of mirrors. You have natural asymmetry because of the switchplate, location so roll with it rather than fight it. Dip some of the mirrors down closer to the bench. Mix wood and gold-tone frames. You'll need to relo the coat hooks...that's ok. I'd actually stagger 5 closer to the door where there's a top row of three and a bottom row of two in the gaps from the top. Throw a small mirror or two over on that side as well. Depending on your ceiling height, and if you still have the parts for the chandelier, trade out the drop piece you used for the next longer one to bring it a bit lower. From there, just add some more greenery and a few more pillows....See Morecorndog
