Gorgeous blooms, Julia! My favorites are Prismatic and Claudine's Charm. Isle of Patmos stands out too with its deep, rich color. It's hard to believe you only have a dozen or so that haven't bloomed yet. Have you downsized a lot? I only have two very lates that haven't bloomed yet, Last Chance at Romance and Sun Temple Spirit.

Awesome Applique is really pretty, too bad it isn't a good plant for you. Back to the Future is lovely, & I say every time I see Claudine's Charm I will have to get that one. Saw it for sale this spring, but the seller didn't have anything else I wanted so I passed it by. Wishing I hadn't now, of course. Everyone seems to be showing lots of watermarked daylilies, I have a real weakness for those!

Debra: Yes, I downsized several last year and more will be going this year. . Ones that look like another I have, duplicate plantings from divisions and more divisions I plan to do this year. I have many in the holding bed area that need to go. My focus is more to mixing perennials rather than just all daylilies.

Nancy: I too like watermarked daylilies. Sometimes what I see online doesn't always work out here after giving them a couple of years. The very, very ruffled edged ones just can't handle our swing temps.

They all look good to me! I like Claudine's Charm and it is another one I wonder why I don't have....too many on that list, unfortunately!! Self Determination looks like a great performer. Just really pretty pics. What are you using your "holding bed" for in relation to your garden? Holding to go, holding to plant, holding to increase? I noticed you indicated you had several in that bed that need to go. Just curious!!!

Kate: Holding bed is for ones I had to move out of other beds to make room for new ones that came in and divisions I've done over the last couple of years. I bought a lot for hybridizing tall daylilies and now I no longer will be doing that so cutting those back. I'll also be taking out the "looks like another that I have".

Sa I am not the only addict that has a holding area. Good to know.

More lovely blooms! I have Trahlyta and Claudine's Charm. They never disappoint. This year these two are doing well here, something I can't say for a lot of the others in my garden.

We love Claudine's Charm. It always has nice flowers. It must open late enough that the dew does not mess up the flowers.

Beautiful group! I know I've admired your Back To The Fuchsia in the past, a striking bloom with a memorable name. My Isle of Patmos has not started blooming yet here. Self Determination had it's FFO here a couple of days ago.

What's Up Down South really catches my eye. Bob likes them tall but most of his tall ones are yellow. Having one in orange red color range would be nice. Trahlyta is really an amazing color. The base color is so gray. I love the name Back to the Fuchsia--a nice play on words. One of my son's favorite movies was Back to the Future. He's not a plant person, but maybe he would like this one.

It looks like you are keeping the very best plants. I see some of the companions around Isle of Patmos, and I'd love to see a garden shot with more of your mixed perennials. How are your coneflowers doing? I've been so pleased with mine this year.

All of these have such wonderful coloration. Isle of Patmos, Back to the Fuchsia and Prismatic really have the 'wow' factor for me. My Claudine's Charm and Trahlyta are lagging behind yours but will bloom soon. Your photography is always very pleasing.

Isle of Patmos is a deep rich color.

Beautiful. I get that deep color on Isle of Patmos best when it is cooler than normal here. That is a beauty. All it takes is the combination of red and huge to speed up my heart rate, so Whats Up Down South does it effectively. The companions set it off nicely too. lovely. Trahlyta is always so pretty, isn't it? Back to The Fuchsia is gorgeous. The clump of Prismatic is really nice.
