Flying question

I have some anxiety when it comes to flying and I don't do it often enough to get over it. Last summer was the last time I flew, and my ears really bothered me on the final landing. So now I'm terrified it's going go happen again. I've been paying attention to my ears and notice they pop every single time I swallow. They don't feel stuffy, but something must be happening to pop every time?

Of course google has me petrified I'm going to burst an ear drum. I fly out Friday morning. Should I go to the express clinic? Take a decongestant today and see if that helps?

Any advice from you frequent travelers?
