Once brown patch is in full swing, there isn't much you can do to stop it. Even the expensive fungicides don't do a good job. If you have had it in the past, you need to treat for it before you see it. Aerating right now isn't going to help and will only stress the grass more. Since you already chose a fungicide, that is pretty much all you can do right now. The best thing you can do is overseed in fall with a Brown Patch resistant grass. You should be able to find Tarheel or Tarheel II tttf locally and it ranks right at the top in terms of brown patch resistance. That doesn't mean you will never get it, but when you do, it should be a smaller problem and the grass is more likely to bounce back. If you have a compaction problem, you should aerate the heck out of the lawn before overseeding.

Hmmmm... I was going to say you weren't watering enough. Three intervals of three minutes isn't very much. And in 100 degree temps, I'd say what little bit of water that's being applied is evaporating very quickly. But after after backing off you're finding the worst areas are still "WET" and in poor-draining, heavily-shaded spots, you've probably overwatered those areas. I'd continue to keep watering as you currently are. Good job waiting until you see signs of wilting. But I'd also only hand-water those areas that are showing signs of wilting. Hold off on the poor-draining, well-shaded areas until they start to wilt. The good news is that if your patches of brown aren't too large, the St. A will fill it in rather quickly once you get your watering dialed in. (I had a 10' diameter bare patch where the kids' pool was last year that filled in in about 8 weeks this spring.)

I've been having brown patches on Caramel Heuchera just in the last 2-3 weeks. They're a new plant for me and only ten months in ground. It's the mature leaves that are affected and they have subsequently shrivelled up and fallen off completely. Could this condition be "normal" considering the unusually cool, wet Spring we've had in Seattle? Many of the plants in my yard seem a little, well, confused this year. I clipped off the dead/dying leaves, and there are new, so far healthy, baby leaves growing below. So I'm crossing my fingers that nutmeg4061 is correct, and that the plants will recover.

skoot cat, you may have a (root knot) nematode problem and here is why I think so. You have been on an organic lawn care program for three years. Nematode populations have been reduced significantly by the application of OM, but not eliminated. There is enough testimonial evidence that your organic treatments significantly reduce fungi diseases. The symptoms of root knot infestation are typical of moisture/nutrient deprivation because the roots are damaged. The symptoms you describe are more consistent with this condition as opposed to brown patch disease in which case the color of the turf goes from green through yellow to brown, in widening circles and the growing centers of the grass pull away easily and sloppily from the stem. Brown patch is comparatively easy to identify from sod samples; nematodes are a slightly different matter. Root galls may betray their activity but their presence and intensity are determined by specialised examination of soil samples. Such samples are collected and specially packaged and require a pre-payment. The sod sample you took into the Extension Office may have shown the symptoms of brown patch but that did not exclude nematodes. Additionally, I do not recall that in November the temperature and humidity conditions were conducive to fungi proliferation, but I may be mistaken. Brown patch is more likely to occur in moist locations rather than in shady areas; I am not sure what nematodes do. Because of the cost and time involved I always try to eliminate the other pests, diseases, cultural and environmental factors that can cause the signs and symptoms. Then, only nematodes remain. Finally, this can be confirmed by soil analysis.
