How to add an entrance.....
Comments (40)ellendi - will do! lascatx sounds like you had a lot going on - thanks for taking the time to reply. The garage doors are definitely on the agenda, but I never thought about painting the pergola black, that's an interesting idea. You like the bathroom tile, marcolo? The floor tile is pink. I'm not sure which is original to the house, the wall tile or the floor. The shower was retiled 2 years ago and doesn't look as peachy in person as in the photo. The shed has to be taken completely down as we have square footage limits we're bumping up against for permit approval. Since there's electricity in the shed it's considered living area, and we need that 400 square feet for the house....See MoreAdd a front deck/entryway.

Comments (4)IMO not that fixture which IMO has too things bad. ONe is it looks like a bare light bulb in a shed ans sceond it has an Edison bulb , worst yellow light ever.. You have a lovely home please choose lighting to go with it. I think you need a more substancial table in that entry and a piece of art above it to get some color in there . I do not love the wagon wheel type light in that LR either but you do need some table or floor lamps in there for sure. IMO a large drum style fixture would be better in the LR and then something similar in the entry You could even go much more contemporary in both spaces...See MoreShould we paint our gable shakes a diff color than the main body?
Comments (8)You have a home with prominent garages and a very dark roof, so you want to paint the body Hale Navy and keep the trim white in a wooded setting. Are you sure? That high contrast is going to make your garage doors sing out loud. I think I would keep the exterior a light neutral with white trim and a bright front door and landscaping that draws the eye to the front door....See Morelefty47
