Whether coming from outside in or entering the bathroom from the hallway, doors are continuously utilized throughout the home. Their function is fairly self-explanatory: they muffle noise, provide privacy and even protect us from the outdoor elements. However, with a little extra thought, they can also add a hint of unexpected style through a paint job, custom detailing or even an entirely unique door in itself. So, if you’re looking to punch up the décor of your home, consider exchanging your everyday door for something outside of the norm. If you’re feeling a little unsure about the proposition, the following photos might change your mind.
For a truly stunning entrance that will captivate your guests, choose a customized pivot front door. Enhance the impact by choosing a finish that complements your home’s interior, and paint the frame a bold, eye-catching color.
Using common doors in unexpected places, such as garage doors in place of sliding doors in the living room, will instantly set your space apart from the rest. These doors will let in abundant light into your home while also acting as an interesting architectural element.
