Comments (9)Gazania, all my day lilies have come and gone already. I think some were eaten by the deer, but the others didn't seem to last very long. I've never dug them up and divided them. Do you think that makes any difference?? All the pictures are so good today. I always look forward to seeing them. Comments (16)That is the place where it happened. The animal had climbed up a tree within the enclosure, and worked itself to another tree and then just dropped in with the visitors. So got freaked, and others took photos. The animal was tranquilized and returned to the enclosure. I really hope it happens again, it will really increase attendance....See More

A new little garden I added to the backyard this morning. The little red rose bush was a "giveaway" from my local nursery. They had a bargain bin to choose from - things mostly given up on for this year. But the little rose bush looked to be in pretty good shape and it has bloomed quite nicely in the past few weeks since I got it! And the bonus is that it has a great scent to it!!!
9 years agoI had a friend over yesterday showing her how to crochet, and invited her to stay for dinner.
This morning she bought me 2 of these tea towels. I'm going to hang one on the side of the cupboard. I love them.
