Not really. I was aiming to have my master bedroom and bathroom be spa like. I am very pleased with them. I have a sunroom which has wicker furniture so that might be a theme. My husband has a small collection of Route 66 items that he puts in there too.

Not really but I am redoing the bedroom I use as my hideout/quiet zone in a beachy theme.

I have some old circus posters and clown related stuff I am thinking of incorporating into the "office". Thinking maybe yellow for the walls.

Originally I planned to do a red and white laundry room but when I came across some vintage hand painted tile and wallpaper I have with little blue flowers and red berries on a white background I wanted to use those instead.

My grands share a room. It's funny. When DD was expecting the first, they did the whole room in a cute jungle theme. The child never slept in the room until she was 3 and then only part time. They had not one but two cribs that were given to them and neither child has slept in one ever. Now they have all kinds of themes going at once. Trolls to keep the monsters away, unicorns and rainbows, pirates (because they like them) etc. Mostly with wall clings. The jungle ones remain but it is the kids space to add as they wish within reason.

Most of my house is in blues and creams. My husband always liked blue. I like it, I would like to bring in more color though.

Our house is burgundy carpet throughout except dark green carpet in the kitchen. All room have white walls except the kitchen is wallpapered in green and my bathroom has a floral print.

I do a LOT of matchy matchy. Black & white only....or photos of people exercising in the workout room. :0)

Only in the bathrooms. Turtles in one, mostly green in there and whales in the other, white and gray.

No. And now that we're prepping to sell, it's even more sterile. Hardwood floors, vinyl tile in the kitchen, ceramic tile in the bathrooms. Neutral colors.

I have a large Persian on the hardwood floor in my kitchen. I like it.

Cat or rug? Lol. I immediately thought of a Persian cat.

I keep my home fairly neutral with a few pops of color in accessories. That way I can move things around from one room to another and not worry about matching.

Nope, I'm not really into themes

I need to paint. The entire house was Sherwin Williams 'macadamia' when we bought. I'm not a beige person. It's holding me back because some of the main living areas are two story and I'm not going to pay someone to paint since we may have to move again. I've repainted a couple of other rooms in shades of blue.

My theme is apparently bringing the outdoors in. My living room art is flower themed and has a big sun wall hanging.

My guest bedroom has wrought iron accents and bird figurines, artificial flowers and gnomes. I'm going for a whimsical look. I do need to pick a paint color and go for it.

The theater room has board game and Star Trek, Star Wars and other games wall hangings. It's a mix match of fun.

I started my master bedroom theme as a sort of joke. I have a couple of Renoir nudes as wall hangings. I either need to finish decorating or change it.

In answer to "carpeted kitchen?", yes my kitchen is carpeted and so was my kitchen in Ohio. A wet linoleum, tile, or wet hard wood floor is slippery and being handicapped, I can't take the chance of slipping and falling. It really isn't that hard to keep clean, can be vacuumed and can be cleaned with the carpet scrubber.

The guest bedroom has 3 plush ducks on the bed, there's a couple of duck piggy banks on the dresser......

Carpeted kitchen? No way. I understand, of course, if people need it due to disabilities. But for me, for now, not a chance in he11.

No 'theme', only medium dark hardwood throughout with light color painted walls -- except the library (AKA where we watch TV) with glossy "Hershey candy bar" brown walls.

A childhood friend, whose father was an exec with A&P, and who worked there as a cashier in HS, had an enormous and ever-growing collection of A&P products in her kitchen.

If bringing the out doors in is a theme, than I guess we're on that wagon too. I am just not a fan of faux anything and have stuck with natural stone, woods and so on instead of a faux alternative.

We just have one bath with a beachy / ocean theme. I need to get on with decorating.

Not into themes although the children did have input when it came to their rooms. Even so they are not really themed unless you count items that can be easily changed such as bedspreads/comforters.

No themes. The closest I ever came was when my mother gave my son Star Wars sheets when he was 10. I was not happy... He's now 47 and no longer has theme sheets.

One of my guest bedrooms is painted pale blue with blue & white curtains and comforter. I have beachy/lakey signs, pictures and paintings on the walls; also have a lighthouse candle holder. There's a metal seagull hanging from the ceiling. Perfect for me because my favorite place is the beach & I live on Cedar Creek Lake.

Nope, white walls thru out and original 1840 floors including kitchen and bath.

My kitchen used to be painted all white with blue trim and all blue heart patterns. I had wallpaper border along the ceiling and my cupboard and draw pulls were ceramc white with blue hearts. My dishes matched. Then it got old. I repainted and now my walls are brown, my cupboards are off white and my drawer pulls and doorknobs are brushed silver. No more theme rooms for me.

Concentrated in what we call the "big room" is my extensive collection of bird, bug and animal décor, plus DH's collection of model cars, trucks and construction equipment. The nature 'theme' has overflowed into the rest of the house by necessity.

The 'computer room' is reserved primarily for family photos.

No, we don't have theme rooms. If anything, the theme could be called "comfy" or "homey".

I have a thing for wood stained in what's called 'heritage' cherry (it's a darker shade but not quite mahogany) and mahogany. Yes, I know it's a dark stain color to choose and that means the furniture can look overwhelming/imposing in rooms. I bet that's at least part of the reason the open floor plan thing came about. ;)

Blues, other jewel tones, and oddly enough grey - there will be no beige brought into my home if I have anything to do with it. Earlier in my adulthood when I was just getting into living under a roof that I was paying for I had a lot more....stuff....as decor. But years go by and viewpoints change, so does the decor.

Marcy, I can see that little girl's room right now. Soft pink walls. White trim. Black and white zebra striped fabric for the curtains and bedspreads. A couple of pig and zebra figurines on shelves and you've got a great room.
