Comments (5)Hi HW, that is a nice set of small to mid-sized saws. But I am not sure if you are boasting. If you are, you are not going to impress any serious saw users with that lineup, any more than you impressed us professional engien repair techs with your "cranking ampereage draw test" smack. To answer your question directly, there are probably 100 people in SD CA with those four brands in their collection. And this is not a big market for saws. I can actually make money subbing out my bucking or low cutting services to landscrapers and some quality arbos just becasue I have a 3120 and they dont have a big saw. But again, that IS a nice set of small to medium saws. TD. My workers are Sears/Poulan 46 cc "walkerized", 372 xp, 3120 xp. in mothballs are old sears 917 roper aluminum case, old sears yellow echo, and old sears 358 source metal case poulan. My "walkerized " 3.7 poulan finally scored up and went to recycling. I need to hit the dumpsters and get me some new saws to walker...erggghhh "daverized"...See MoreHaving Fun Experimenting with Echo Trimmer PE 2000 w/o spending
Comments (1)1. I finally got the trimmer to run good above idling only (initially), used it, and stored it about a month with fresh SaBil treated 50:1 fuel. 2. The trimmer w/n not run constantly again w/o it appearing as running out of gas (with air in fuel vs solid fuel in the carb to tank return fuel line). 3. A disassembly and study of two types of primer bulbs plates/bodies took place (since I c/n draw and push solid fluid w/o air in the original). I learned one had a noticeable "Duck-Bill" one-way valve and good. The suspicious valve in use was under a welch plug that I'll check later. 4. The bulb with the noticeable Duck-Bill (top one)showed a good improvement and better when I added an O-ring under the retainer to help seal it tighter. 5. Primed It And It Ran Continuously! Wide Open Throttle (WOT) Or At Idle, fine tuning will come later. I Wish I Could Remember How Many Years Old This Project Is (4 Maybe vs Hours). LOL! 6. Solving the air in the fuel was the Key. Seeing the primer sys was pulling air w/o the plastic valve/gasket below the bulb helping to control the air in the bulb was the big break. Until this study I felt the plastic valves contributed to the air. This will add another Page to my notes. Please add additional info, links or Pics that might help to verify what I feel I learned. I hope this info is worth sharing....See Moremy silver rabbit teapot, Sly Slinkey n O.A.
Comments (21)I swear I went to sleep dreaming of napkins and tablecloths. Arrrggghhh. See what you did to me! LOL OA, the fact some of our gals are such super photographers and table 'setters' doesn't intimidate me really, as I know there's no competition here. And its more like a pep rally when one of us does something to show the others. I think all of us love to see EVERYthing, and truly enjoy it!! My mental blocks with setting a table is what's held me back, I get so frustrated trying to think of WHAT to do and HOW to do it. For some reason, I have no problem with regular decorating, just with table settings! And while I have loads of things to accessorize with (since I'm an obsessed collector of stuff, LOL) its the basics I lack. Napkins, table cloths, silverware, knowledge! LOL. I can't really justify going out and buying that kind of stuff to never use except for photos. And they don't fall under the heading of "collectibles" either. I do have quite a few tea cups in that curio cabinet as you saw. So you may have created a monster here who just does Tea Settings. LOL. Tho when we had that Tea Party last year, those settings have remained my FAVORITE of all the table settings in our albums! I just love the small, intimate, cozy atmosphere of a Tea table. I poured...pun intended... over all our table albums last night and tried to really look at every single thing that made each setting work. Including some of the photography! I just have the little digital camera, nothing fancy, but that's ok. I picked up some good ideas for taking photos I think. Hope so anyway. Unfortunately that console table and lamp may be the best place to use, but we'll see what happens. I'm just thrilled I finally did something...and that there's NO cat in the photo. LOL. That's hard to do around here too. hugs, Karen...See MoreI need to add $4.51 to my Amazon cart. Suggestions?
Comments (27)Our internet is down! Oh the horror, the horror. Borrowing DH's desk at work until I get kicked out. It may be days until we are up again (phone company issues) so please accept my apologies for neglect. The parchment rounds are looking good, as is the dulce de leche. And one can always use another spatula, or Oxo tongs. Linda and bunnyman - smart@sses, I'm looking for kitchen stuff. LOL. Love the suggestions anyway, and they can be used in other parts of the house.... Annie, I own all those canning toys :-). Dlynn, we have plenty of cameras but thanks for the link. Joanm, I have a spaetzle maker, I love it! My family doesn't, sigh. I need to play with it more, maybe add some seasonings. dktrahan, AnnT have an ongoing disagreement about the ricer (but we are still friends, lol). I like the style you linked because I can rest it across the pot/bowl and I don't find it difficult to squeeze. DARFC from Ann. Deee, I have those jar pops and extras too, I give them away as gifts to my friends - we're all starting to need them. jcrowley99, now you have me looking for (and needing) 'scoop' measuring cups. I can't fit my round ones in my narrow flour tupperware containers. Next order or ebay, I can't justify $20 for a set of scoops. Arley, I was listening to Fritz Wunderlich, Dalla Sua Pace, on our Rhapsody music subscription when our net went down. Arrrgh. I do sing Il Mio Tesoro around the house, much to the consternation of my kids, heh heh. We can never get enough Don Giovanni. He does have a beautiful voice. We get everything now on Rhapsody; I'm not sure about O Holde Dame, I'll check when we are back up. Maybe Youtube will have a clip! I don't know if you checked back on the 'Bucket List' thread on Conversations - we just started the Ring cycle at LA Opera. I'm stoked! Thanks all, I'll try to check in for more suggestions!...See Morecooper8828
