Milk Makeup Glitter Stick!

I ordered one yesterday, so have no firsthand impressions to pass along at this time. However, I wanted to share this here (especially given the recent increase in makeup threads) because I like the idea that this limited release Glitter Stick is a "makeup for a cause" item; win-win. And it's sparkly, so really IMO, it's win-win-win! :)

The Milk Glitter Stick is being sold, for a limited time (maybe just during June?) in honor of Pride Month, and half the proceeds from each sale, will go to The Center in (for the LGBT Community) in NYC:

This Glitter Stick is only available from Milk Makeup (I ordered mine online yesterday and it shipped free--AND it's supposed to be delivered today!). The cost for the stick is $30, and $15 from each sale will be donated to The Center.

My Glitter Stick arrived yesterday and my first impression is: I like it! I did a couple quick swatches on the back of my hand and on my arm. With one swipe, it's not super disco ball glittery, rather, it's more of an "ethereal" sparkle. I believe you can layer it over itself (multiple swipes) to intensify the sparkle and shine.

It'll be fun to wear a little sparkle as we head into the warmer months (and shoulders, collarbones, arms, legs....are bared by summer clothes). I think it's a nice product for all ages, especially given how easy it is to control the intensity, and the Stick formula means no mess, and easily portable (pop it into your bag, and go!).

Alcohol also kills the bacteria, I have used it before, just not after shaving! Many deodorants and anti perspirant contains magnesium check the label. If you want to stop sweating be sure you aren't just using a deodorant, they are not all one and the same, you want an anti perspirant deodorant combined. Using a little baking soda with a bit of water to dissolve it rubbed in the pits works too. Arm and hammer make a stick product now. To apply the milk of magnesia get one of those dauber containers like they use for bingo, the sponge dauber makes a good application device. . I have bought those at hobby stores and office supplies stores. I have never used one for that but I have used them for applying other things.

Wintercat, there was a little bit of protein in addition to the goldfish, at least they made the sandwiches from my own grassfed beef. (grin) Oh boy, time does fly, doesn't it? It doesn't even seem possible to me that she's in kindergarten. And taking over, of course. I don't remember having birthday parties when I was a child, or graduation open houses or a lot of other parties that are customary now. Birthdays usually included a cake after supper with the family and a couple of gifts. "Important" birthdays, like turning 13 and being a teenager or starting school might include a sleepover with a couple of friends, but that was the complete celebration. This is more fun, LOL. sleevendog, my Grandmother used to make rabbits out of pear halves, I still remember those! Lars, Ashley's favorite color combination is turquoise with chocolate brown, she decorated her bedroom with those colors.
