The folks who owned this cabin displayed a light in each front window during the Iraq War until their soldiers came home. Unfortunately, the US flag is displayed backward. Comments (23)@sabbath7 We loved it there! We did think that we would see stuff (you know) but all we saw were lots and lots of trees!!! It was great tho we loved the 5 day week we took to go to Tennessee and hike and just enjoy it!;). 9 years agoFrom background to foreground: McIntosh and Golden Delicious apple trees, roses "Dart's Dash" (odd name for a rugosa with a powerful old-rose scent) and "Blanc Double de Coubert", Weigela "Wine and Roses", and a young hydrangea paniculata "Pillow Talk." Oh, and tall grass we haven't gotten around to dealing with at the perimeter of the vegetable garden.

My neighbor took me to an early birthday lunch yesterday and this was one of my gifts. A darling frog birdhouse for the atrium. I love it.
I have a mini collection of green frog items. My birthday /anniversary is actually the 20th.

9 years agoA sign in Bath, England that I just had to photograph! One of the pleasures of the trip was seeing street names that I had read about so often in English literature.
