We hiked about 6 miles in the rain yesterday. Avalanche Creek on Trail of Cedars.

Avalanche Lake. Lens was wet and it was foggy. But a beautiful spot. You can see multiple waterfalls coming down into the lake.

Now for something not so lovely looking, but like it or not this is a useful member of our world. The common house centipede, also found outside, where they eat spiders, bedbugs, raoches and many other pests in house and garden. This one even posed for me. Normally when discovered, they are gone in a flash.

With it's extra long antenna, it ought to be able to bring in a lot of tv channels!

We toured past the lighted Eiffel Tower after dark and saw the moon through the opening in the the structure. The lower string of lights are reflections or other lighting.

and inside there are four floor of oddly shaped rooms

and the top of the cube is a triangular room with windows

Bob, now that is really weird housing. I can't comprehend living in a place like that, and why would anyone design and build them? I guess like anything else out of the ordinary, they do it just because they can.

Minjeeah- I love Tennessee! My daughter lives there. We lived there many years ago! The people are so friendly.
