I didn't get the golden buzzer for the last kid who would not have gone that far on The Voice. My golden buzzer would have been for the French magicians.

I'm trying to give Tyra a chance, but Nick is a tough act to follow.

The woman who survived an airplane crash moved me to tears.

I enjoyed the dog act.

The husband/wife balancing act were fantastic.

I agree about the magicians; they brought magic to a whole 'nother level!

On the British version of AGT they have two guys that are really nice. LUV them. Tyra isn't a good fit for THIS show. IMO

Mel B drives me nuts with throwing her arms and hands out in front of herself every time she likes an act. She exclaims how great it is and her arm gestures are constant and consistent. Every. Single. Time. It's overkill and I find it annoying.

I love Howie. Heidi seems sort of vapid to me and is just kind of "there". I like Simon but feel that he's gone far overboard in his switch from being a negative jerk to likeable.

I'm also starting to see what I think are "setups". For example, last week's show - - - the young woman in the long black dress and fancy earrings started to sing and Simon shut her right off and asked if she had a "backup song". Tyra came running out, ripped off her earrings, got her to take off her shoes, did a "re-do". Her backup song was almost identical to the first song. Pretty obvious to me that it was a setup and that we, the audience, were being manipulated.

Love the show; I hope it doesn't get ruined with excessive scripting of that type of thing.

I think some things are getting scripted and I don't like "set ups". I don't like Tyra and miss Nick. I don't think she'll be back next year. In addition to the magicians which I loved, I also loved the plane crash woman and the dog act.

I only started watching 1 or 2 years ago because I couldn't stand Nick Cannon. Well, I like Tyra even less!! Haven't watched last night's show yet, we PVR it and watch when we have time.

We watch Britain's Got Talent faithfully, have since the beginning, and their hosts (Ant & Dec) and judges are way better than the "American" judges. I say "American" because not one of them is from the USA, haha.

I don't know if you saw this but a future AGT contestant died on Sunday in a car accident. It hasn't been decided if they will show his performance.

I thought that last nite's golden buzzer singer is talented, yet to be seen if he is worthy of it. Didn't agree that last week's golden buzzer winner deserved it. I think that she's amazing in what she can do while being deaf, but if you stack her talent against others I don't think that she holds up. Don't intend to sound uncaring, just realistic. Don't like Tara on this show, she might make a good host on other shows, but as someone else said, not a good fit on AGT.

Mare, I didn't care for last week's golden buzzer winner, either. She certainly deserves a lot of credit for not giving up, but her voice and style of music is not something I care to listen to. But that's just my opinion and my tastes. Same with the boy last night, not my kind of music. Obviously I would not make a good judge, I'd never be able to over look my own preferences.

I do think there has really been some incredible talent!

I believe back stories are a BIG DEAL. :0) Think of ALL the decisions you've made in your own life based on "back stories". That alone is a thread!

So if there is a horrific back story and the person has a mediocre talent, they should receive consideration? The stories are interesting but in no way should reflect the voting.

The back stories won't get them far in Show Biz. It's a shame that some of these have overcome tremendous adversity to get to that stage, but the talent has to be the ultimate decider, not emotion.

While the back story might help get them through to the next round, I think that by the time the show gets to the finals, the most talented contestants are the ones who have made it that far. With a few exceptions, I've usually felt that the most talented are the ones who make it all the way through to the end.

I remember reading somewhere online a few years ago that AGT encourages the contestants to share 'sob' stories. Wish I could remember where I saw that. I don't remember if they gave a reason for it or not, but it makes no sense to me. I agree, it might help get them through the first round, or maybe 2, but in the end, it's the true talent that will win. Supposedly. Not sure the true talent won last year but at least there wasn't a back story there, that I remember, anyway.
