Showing my latest cycling guest some OKC sights. She is only 25, but riding across the country. running a bit short, she came from Tennessee via bus, and I rode to the bus station and we did a "Moni Tour" on the way to my house.

Summer, what is it? I love a fragrant garden.

Many of my irises were chosen partly for fragrance. I took this shot of the terrace a few days ago. Since then others have opened, but then last night we got a heavy t-storm. :-(

Bob, that's because the photo was processed with a "high key" look. It was fairly underexposed when I shot it so I had to do something to make the bird "pop"

Great shot Jodi! The whitish background give it a bit of a surreal appearance that enhances the heron more than a blue sky in this case. IMO only, of course. :)

Schoolhouse and Alisande - The plant is Valeriana officinalis. Everyone that smells it, either in an arrangement or in my yard, has asked me for some. I'd gladly share with you, but since I can't.........here is a link if you are interested. I love it!
