Chateau Montebello in Quebec where we spent part of the weekend attending hubby's company Christmas party. It's called the biggest log cabin in the world.

Comments (4)This cactus came from the King Ranch in South Texas...it was only about 2 years old when this was taken...It's about 8 years old now and is huge...The stems or paddles that are quite small here in this photo are now as large as dessert plates at least 6 inches across...and it is covered in a mass of blooms when it is time for it to bloom...It is an amazing site to see...This year, I am going to divide it and put it into a couple more places on the property. Comments (13)lgmd....I totally agree with you. The new vanities with feet are the same height as a kitchen counter, adds 4". Then the bowl is another 6" tall.....then I pushed the sink back in the corner to free up counter space. This house is 4 levels, lots of stairs. Even the redwood decking is multi level. The person who rents this house will be in pretty good shape just to maneuver around the house. It's near a big park and creek trail. If a person is short...maybe a child, then there are two other bathrooms to choose from. My renters are generally just out of college, has a ton of tuition debt , new job with a big paycheck, a dog(running companion) and a cat or two(apartments won't accept cats or big dogs, but I will). Or military, will be here 3 years then PCS. I got 100 applicants for the last one that became available....See More

9 years agoSmall neighborhood park in Bangkok. People gather there to visit or read. Many exercise during their time at the park. Many years ago, the area was a collection of bars and gambling houses, but it was torn down to make way for the park:
