Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop click Here Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application. 1 Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish. 2 If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version. 3 Once the program has loaded, select "Quick Scan", then click Scan 4 The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient. 5 When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results. 6 Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. 7 When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note) 8 The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM. 9 Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply. Mikie you beat me to it. Sorry about that - I shoulda lookt at it closer.... Well I sort of thought the hype about RegCure looked a bit contrived - suspected it might have been self serving so I messed around with it some and.. You have to buy RegCure - I didn't see that right off. I tried it and it found 487 problems of which it fixt 3; the rest if it got registered. They haven't sent the KEY yet. Maybe you get one free run, ie one free fix w/o money. I ran Abexo and got 33 errors which I left. I ran RegSeeker (Same outfit ?) which got 115 errors which I eliminated. I re-ran Abexo and got 11 errors which I eliminated. I reran RegCure and got 473 errors. I reran Regseeker and got 6 errors which I eliminated. I re-re ran RegCure and got 477 errors which remain unfixt. What a crock! The mind boggles. For sure the RegCure ran way faster than tuthers. Perhaps it would be worth the money vs buying another printer but I spect it would be a gamble.

can you check to make sure you are spelling that dll correctly? I am not seeing it in any of the dll libraries. I assume it would be something hp related since it has hp in hte name. What brand pc do you have? do you have an hp printer? There are lots of dll libraries that you can get missing dll from but the one you have if spelled correctly is not showing up. Raven: I promised to get back to you on this matter.But had to get my computer able to get online. I did as you suggested, But found nothing but a few click cookies. No Spyware , and no Malware. So I went to a site that told me how to repair Hal,Dll. Followed to a tee, Well that turned out to be a fiasco. Was told I could get a backup, of this file from Windows service pack 2. Then copy the folder, and go to Windows sytem 32 folder and show all files. Then find Hal.Dll. folder and paste it into the folder. If ask to overwrite. To say yes. Well then I turned off computer to try the safe mode and see if it reported the file correctly. Needless to say. Ouch, Windows would not then boot at all. So could not even go back and fix the windows file. So still tryed to do a complete restore with a format. Still could not get computer to read the disk.Finally, I thought maybe my problem is with my drawer . So called my nephew who has extra computer parts lying around.Sure enuff. He unplugged my drawer and used his. And it immediately started to read and I was able to do a complete recovery.I had two drawers one was a cd R/W and the other was A dvd R/W . Lost the cdr/w last year and then the dvd R/w this year. So Had to replace both. But am up and running well again. This computer Is a 3 year old Gateway. What a piece of trash.
