Great service and pricing...wonderfully run, family owned. The limestone is by Marble Systems and the color is either Seagrass or Olive Green...the two are often used interchangeably.

Otterkill - the glass shower enclosure was custom and done by a local glass shop. I prefer not to share costs publicly online. Not to mention costs can vary a great deal depending on the materials you use, prices and deals on materials, and regional labor costs. For those on a budget you can replicate this look for less if you use a different marble or other materials. There are some great porcelain tiles and quartz countertops that can create a similar look for much less. Calacatta gold generally runs $20+ a square foot for tile and over $200 a square foot for countertop slab. I suggest shopping around to get a sense of what you like and the costs and then drafting a budget. Then from there you can see where you have give and take in your budget to save on some items and splurge on other items. And as always check out Craigslist or Ebay for deals. Who knows, you may find a wonderful deal on closeout tile or remnant slab.

We remodeled our bathroom with an initial quote of $17,000 for tear out and disposal of old fixtures and flooring, new travertine tile with Installation over heated floor, travertine baseboard with a 36" tiled wet area on the wall in tub space only. The existing separate shower retained exact footprint. We redid the walls in composite granite slab from a company whose initials are GT, install plumbing fixtures that we purchased and finally new frameless glass shower surround and door. We purchased or hired other services on our own: Pedestal tub, plumbing fixtures, sinks, granite tops, painter for existing cabinets, plus 4 end panels, new knobs, wallpaper removal, wall paint and painter, frames for mirrors over vanities, comfort height toilet, lighting fixtures and all decorations including drapes. All of this came to another $11,000. We could have done it more cost effectively, we didn't set out to spend this much. We were shocked at prices even with not even getting close to top of the line products though we did get some splurge items such as the tub and floor. The sky's the limit in prices these days. We saved money where we could. When there are two vanities, there's two of everything which adds up. The biggest expense was the flooring, followed by the pedestal tub and stand alone British tub faucet and the frameless glass shower enclosure. We did it over a two year time frame after the initial necessities and hard surfaces were in and finally just recently put up drapes after nearly 6 years! I cringe to think we spent $28K on a bathroom redo that didn't even include changing the floor plan or new cabinets.

Love your bathroom! One more question about the Mendota, please. How do like its water depth? Do you guys use it to take baths or just showers? I'm back and forthe between the Mendota and the Bellwether. I wish, Iwish, I wish, there was someplace that carried both and I could just see and measure for myself. According to the Kohler provided specs: The 60 x 32 Bellwether is 15 1/2 inches high, and the water depth is 11 5/16. The 60 x 32 Mendota is slightly taller - 16 1/4 inches, but the water is 10 7/8. I'd prefer the Mendota because the Bellwether has that sloped front end which shortens the basin, so you get an extra 2 inches in the Mendota. I just don't know what to do.
