Comments (17)Prettybluehouse, thank you so much! Thank you very much Tracie_Erin. Lynn, thank you, and, I will torcher you with more progress posts lol. Kswl2, you are so kind! I appreciate the complements. Lpathome, my one regret is not having an outlet in the tower for my electric toothbrush. I really do not like having it on the counter. The shower floor pebble stone is flat on top so not foot massage-y and just feels like a regular floor. I just mist it with Simple Green with a few quick long brush strokes and that's it. Babysitting… sometimes I despise it. I’m sick of being discriminated against and underestimated for being a woman in charge with people who do not speak my language. It’s not always the case but the percentage is high. American men can easily read my “do not screw with me” disposition so attitudes do not drag out as long. I always start out treating everyone with respect but am often forced into being someone not nice. But hey, it’s my dime and my house so I’m not sorry. Plus, when someone does a job well I spread the word. I get asked a lot. I loved my 2nd plumber and have given out his name several times already. Not so with the tiller, I have big mouth....See Moreitltrot's Master Bath Reveal
Comments (28)Wonderful transformation! Looks fun and relaxed, with sophistication sprinkled in. I love your wall art. I like the contrast. Such efficient use of cabinet space too! You did a fabulous job! And I love Copen Blue :) I painted several rooms that color. You must have a lot of light because your's looks a tad lighter than mine. When DS2 came to visit he called it Robin's Egg. I found a robin's egg shell several months ago and Copen Blue is lighter than the egg shell but was a great coordinating color. The vanity area: paint or tile what 2 walls? I thought you meant the wall with the mirror (one wall). I like the white for makeup too. But if you tiled it what tile were you thinking? The white? I don't think Id put the dark tile in that alcove. I wouldn't paint the cabinets either. Oh I went back and looked at the pic again. I see one side wall is a wall and not a cabinet. Ummm, could you hang more art instead of painting the walls? Of course paint is easy to change if you decide against the blue in there. I have an ironing board like that too and love the convenience....See MoreSmall Master Bathroom Reveal - All done!
Comments (28)I agree with the others that this is a calming design you have implemented in your new bath. Very nice! If you find that you can't get used to the look of the cabinet hanging above the toilet given more time, you can consider insetting a box into the wall as the mirrored med cab does, and using the existing cabinet door as the door of the inset cabinet. It won't be hovering over the toilet anymore and may feel more integrated. Doing this will mean cutting a stud and building a little header to keep the structural integrity of the wall. Then the wall box will need to be a tiny bit smaller than the existing cabinet box so that the door hides the trim you use to edge the hole in the wall. These guys might even be able to make the cabinet that inserts into the wall for you to use with your own door, if you ask them. I love that the wall cabinet is opposite the matching vanity cabinet and that you see the wall cab in the mirror....See MoreRelated Professionals
