Comments (11)thanks Nita and ravencajun. It is a lot of work in the spring. DH has developed a way of dong the edging around the beds ( he would quickly tell you that there are 18 of them to go around) that is very easy to maintain for the growing season. I pick around the beds as much as I can on a daily basis. I am really not able to do as much as it needs and things on close up inspection does show it. Raven, those pictures were taken from a room in the back of the house that has windows all 3 out side walls. It allows a good view of the back yard for bird watching, etc....See MoreI'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Thurs June 18
Comments (22)Gazania, Teddy was 27. I had him for almost 7 years. I rode him on our trails behind the farm where he lived. He was in great shape most of the time I had him. He developed COPD last year and I could still ride him in the fall, winter and spring. But this spring he developed cancer, so I retired him to live happily with his 10 friends in their 33 acre pasture. It is a 100 acre farm with about 40 horses on it. I never would have thought I would be back riding horses at my age (64) but it has been so much fun. I have a really nice group of friends and one is letting me ride her horse when she can't come out. I'm grateful for that. Teddy was a character. He loved people and coffeecake! :) He had a lot of personality and was a favorite on the farm. He will be missed for sure. Thanks for asking about him. He liked a good roll in the mud. :) And he was just a very handsome boy....See MoreI'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Thurs May 5
Comments (13)Nicole, Polychroma and Bonfire spurges don't spread themselves around. In the 12 or more years that I have had them here, I have seen maybe a half dozen or so seedlings of the Polychroma, and none from Bonfire. Euphorbia Chameleon is a nightmare of a spreader. I have been fighting it for 15 years. It shows up in a different place in my yard every year....See Morejim_1 (Zone 5B)
