Comments (12)ruthie, I was going to say I just drove over that bridge in the other direction, going from Covington to Cincinnati, but I then noticed that your bridge looked different then the one I went over. So out of curiosity I used google street view to "drive" over the 5 other bridges in the city, and none of them looked like your bridge. Comments (7)Marcia, Dictamnus (Gas Plant) is one of my all time favorite perennials. These pics were taken about 20 years ago at my former home in Michigan. It grew very well for me there. Here in PA, I have had no luck with it. The sandy Michigan soil must have been the charm. I have tried the match thing and indeed it does very briefly flare up. That volatile oil can cause a nasty rash in some people. Very much like the rash of poison ivy.
