Downtown St. John's, Newfoundland, taken yesterday. Typical colourful rowhouses, non-typical sunshine! We've had a lot of fog lately, yesterday was beautiful but we're back to fog again today.

Back in March I posted a picture of a giant crane installing two segments of the Berlin Wall just outside my office.

They didn't unveil the display until sometime in April. This past weekend I finally got pictures of the wall segments.

Thank you! That photo was published in Watergardening Magazine when it was still around, everyone wanted to know what camera, what lens, the exposure...LOL!!! Point, click, I nicknamed the picture Dumb Luck!! The lily is Joey Tomacek, it was a gift from Marilyn C. Lazypup, hubby would call that lunch. Jodi's egret could be in Nicole's photo! Vetaal, great shot. That is one place I want to return to, I want to take my husband to the Holy Land. Casey....glad I'm not there! Moni....wish I were there! I want a greenhouse. Susan....sigh. He's gorgeous, and his eyes speak volumes.

The roof has a sort of "glow" to it. You can see the slabs of sandstone lying in the foreground that have fallen from the roof. This dwelling is perched on the side of a canyon cliff. The swirling patterns in the rocks hold your feet securely to the swicthback ascent. A few cairns mark the foot path. It's not a well known site. (didn't see anyone all day and the sign-in book showed an entry the prior month) Grinding stones found at the site, left behind by their previous owners.

This picture is the opposite of Jim's. It's a Zamboni driver (a machine that's used to smooth the ice when playing hockey) going through the drive-through. He had taken it home to work on it, and was returning it to the arena, and stopped for a coffee.

Great toe cleavage, Annie! I too love furry paws! Even though we paid for a cast of Smudge's paws, they weren't able to get the fur, just his pads. I much prefer the scanned prints that the vet gave us, because I commented that I love his furry feet. I wish I saved the money on the cast. Anyway, here is Roxie as a kitten; she too has furry feet.

I was going to say I just drove over that bridge in the other direction, going from Covington to Cincinnati, but I then noticed that your bridge looked different then the one I went over. So out of curiosity I used google street view to "drive" over the 5 other bridges in the city, and none of them looked like your bridge.

What is frightening though is that several of them looked in even worse shape than your sketchy, scary bridge.
