Start with the roof (which looks like it needs to be done). After you've got that installed, you'll know what you are working with. Architectural? Color? If your budget allows, possibly do a metal roof (or at least over the porch); that will drive the follow-on decisions. Then, BEFORE you do anything else, remove the overgrown shrubs in front of the porch to open it up. It looks like you have siding. I'm not a proponent of trying to paint that, and not sure that you want to reside your house... so if you are going to work with the current siding, I'm partial to a dusty blue with some crisp white trim/gutters/garage/porch -- and you can go for a more dramatic hue of blue for the door.

SW Greek Villa (trim?) and SW Tree Branch. I don't want my siding to be too dark and am afraid to not have enough contrast if one color is too light to go with Greek Villa for trim. We are getting ready to replace roof, siding windows. Using hardie board, and want to stick with a factory color for at least the siding (could paint the trim ourselves a different color). I'm leaning towards cobblestone for the board and batten siding, my husband likes contrylane red. Charcoal gray roof or brownish? Bronze windows or off white? Thanks for any feedback!

With the windows and garage doors I would probably go with the same color for the fascia and gutters. I think white siding would look too stark in the gable ends. Something in the taupe family to bridge the dark trim/windows and the lighter brick would look nice.
