I have a 7-year-old Gaggenau combi-steam, which, I believe, the Thermador was based off of (same parent company). It has a small chamber, which is best for the steam, and holds a surprising amount. It's been awhile since I looked at the Wolf, but I think that, like the Miele if I remember right, it's meant to be more of an all purpose oven in its design. I've never heard any negatives about the major brands other than some quirks of cleaning and maintenance.

Remember, you don't need to get all the same brand! Even if there's a promotion, such as a free dishwasher, you might be able to get that anyway just from buying a mid-high to high end suite of kitchen appliances. As at your appliance store.

The layouts of the fridges are quite different. If you can see and touch in person, take the shelves in and out and rearrange them, try out some shapes you bring (clean, empty containers/bottles, cushions and plush toys, or whatever represents what you need to have in the fridge). Feel the heft, and imagine using it. Remember that you need to keep the sides open for air flow (i.e., stay within the shelves, rather than pushing up against the walls).

They're all good products, though there have been some issues with the Wolf enamelled ovens and I don't know if those have been resolved.

Check out Miele combi steam oven, it is more money, but it is like a 3 in 1 oven with the broil element, so you can do steam with broil...all the other brands are like 2 in 1, steam and/or convection only, not sure about Wolf, as I was not interested in their ovens, even thou I am getting a Subzero fridge for my kitchen remodeling.
