lol I had Sia's song chandelier stuck in my head after seeing a little girl sing it on the show "Little Big Shots". Then I looked up the lyrics.....totally depressing.

The way to get rid of ear worms is to finish the song. Play the song to the end and in your own mind hear it with a very dramatic and flourished ending. Often they become ear worms because we're hearing just part of the song play over and over and never the end.

My mother used to start singing this song I hated that would get stuck in my head, mainly because she only ever sang the fragment and I never knew how it ended. I used to complain every time she started it! Only listen if you're willing to get stuck!

Lately every time I step in shower, I find myself singing "I like the United States of America, I like the way we all live without fear..." a throwback to my grade school days. Haven't heard this song in YEARS. But it just keeps popping in my head.`

Just start singing, "It's a small world after all.......". That will drive every other song out of your head. However...that is the stickiest song ever. :-)

"The Candyman can cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good......" It gets stuck in my head every time I mow!

That happened to me a few weeks ago after I had went to hear some local musicians. They sang a George Jones song.
