Comments (2)A happier new year to you and yours. The hardest part of a disaster isn't the initial shock, it's the grinding months and months after, when everyone in the uneffected world assumes that life is back to normal. You have shown us how far away normal still is for your city. This year, may all the storms be land-a-phobid, and stay well out in the atlantic....See Moreall tile pool in philly area?
Comments (1)I don't know if it is true but I have heard that it is not good to use all tile in a pool in climates with such diverse temps. I would look into the Pebble Tec line of products. They are very strong. All tile pools are usually seen in warmer climates. BTW-I am not a pool expert by any means, so if I am wrong I am sorry, but I thought there was a thread about this in the past....See MoreAnyone coming to Phila to see the Pope?
Comments (30)The Pope will have to manage his visit without me, I'm afraid.....this Episcopalian is staying home :-) i too admire the pope, mainly for daring to venture opinions that obviously are not part of the standard Vatican script even though they fit into the wider Catholic theology. The crowds don't appeal to me in the least! Arcy, I have heard secondhand from a mom whose daughter attended a world youth day and the experience really did enrich her faith......Just seeing that many religious youth when you live in a secular society has got to be heartening and empowering....See MoreFor those around Philly…
Comments (22)I know that house! It is right around the corner from my mother's home. Yes, very lovely. I love old stone colonials. That street is not very far from the township transfer station where they take all the trash. Although Hillcrest is unaffected by it, houses on N. Woodbine have trash trucks going by all the time on their way to the transfer station. This house is on a charming street and you can walk to the center of Gladwyne. https://www.zillow.com/homes/for_sale/Lower-Merion-Township-PA/pmf,pf_pt/9965383_zpid/398868_rid/globalrelevanceex_sort/40.148963,-75.129662,39.902362,-75.569115_rect/10_zm/ This place needs some work but has an amazing location. https://www.zillow.com/homes/for_sale/Lower-Merion-Township-PA/pmf,pf_pt/9966214_zpid/398868_rid/globalrelevanceex_sort/40.148963,-75.129662,39.902362,-75.569115_rect/10_zm/5_p/ You should just let me pick out your house for you....See Moremaire_cate
