Want to weigh in on MBR paint color?
Comments (8)I have a few contenders propped up on my wall in the MBR right now and one of them is Rich Cream. I may have to step down to something less yellow to be happy with a creamy color. And busy, Gray Wisp is one of the contenders for my sunroom! I'm going to move that sample up to the MBR and see what I think. I had a client a few years ago with Gray Wisp in her large kitchen, and it seemed unusual for a kitchen (to me) but very, very pretty. I actually thought about the Revere Pewter too... aggh... can't decide. I have time, I'm just wishing something would jump out at me as the obvious choice. Usually I'm better at this sort of decision. I have had sick kids at home for two days so all I can do is play with the samples I already have in my house until next week!...See MoreSuggest MBR paint to go with Attic Heirloom Oak and Black furn!!!
Comments (0)I am finally ready to paint my MBR and am looking for a neutral to go well with the natural red oak floors. My bedroom set is Attic Heirlooms Oak finish and black pieces and I also use wrought iron accents. The bathroom color is SW Grassland and the hallway is BM Pittsfield Buff. I am leaning towards Valspar Hopsack, SW Kilim Beige, BM Coastal Dunes...etc. A nice neutral that will not clash. Suggestions please!...See MoreBefore I Sell - Carpet Color & MBR Bedding ?
Comments (36)Roselvr,I LOVE the bedding in your last post! I'm thinking of changing the floral bedding in the second BR. I somtimes feel one of the BR's needs a more masculine look/feel. I'll wait until after I hear if an offer comes in, not that I couldn't use it in 'my new house'(can't believe i'm typing that!!) It isn't something I would choose, I like patterns on my bed but like that it is plainish and can be played up with different pillows. If anyone wants to buy it they;d better jump on it. I tried ordering the queen, of course it told me it wasn't available. I put it in my cart anyway, it's showing that it is back ordered 10/26/07. Here are the numbers for the different sizes: Save 30-50% on 5 piece Studio by JC Penney Home Collection Bonus coverlet is diamond quilted w/ an embroidered border; dark taupe reverses to copper canyon. That "is" like the one I originally picked out. I must be tired or something. I'll have to look at it again. Man oh man - too many things on my mind. Look again, it does have buttons - you can see it right on top of the blanket. Using the coupon code, looks like it brings the $149.99 queen (as I'd need) to $104.99, shipping is $19.25. I'll have to see if I can find a better coupon code. What's stopping me is I know the one I have will work with the new house carpet, but I'm not sure if this one will. Usually the full size doesn't sell out. They usually throw those in clearance for a lot cheaper. I'm such a sucker for bedding. I could change it on a monthly basis if it was up to me....See Morembr wall paint with teak furniture
Comments (3)My son has teak furniture in his bedroom, the walls are Ben Moore Wedgewood Gray and it looks wonderful with the teak, IMO. It compliments the tones in the wood beautifully. On the other hand, my dining room table and chairs are teak also, that room is painted Ben Moore Palace White and it also works well with the wood tones. Two totally different looks, one has walls with pretty saturated color the other has walls that are a neutral-ish backdrop....See Morepippiep
