Which of these peach trees should I plant in my yard?

I'm in zone 9b - just a bit east of the bay area.

My grandparents in southern oregon grew a Fortyniner peach tree that gave large, juicy peaches with excellent taste every summer. They were the best peaches I have ever tasted. Dave Wilson's site says they require 700 hours below 45 degrees. Hardy between zones 6-9. The next town over from me apparently had just 704 cumulative chill hours. Also, the one in my grandparent's yard grew to be way too large (seemed to be about 30 ft tall). I'd need to have it around 10-12 feet high at most.

Another variety I'm considering is the August Pride. It requires only 300 hours and is hardy between zones 8-10. I haven't tasted it though and can't see any reviews about it online. This one seems to be best grown in Southern California (a much hotter climate). It's availability is pretty limited to Southern California.

They are both self fruitful.
