This Justin Wilson's Hush Puppies recipe is from our Cajun recipes collection ___________ I remember the worst hush puppies I ever had were in Charlotte, NC. No flavor, greasy, and if that's the best they had to offer.... ugh....See MoreHalloween Hush Puppies

I used medium grind cornmeal, and next time I will use a finer grind - or substitute more masa for part of the cornmeal. Hosta lovers are lifetime devotees. What's not to love? windymess - I also have 'Minuteman' on your list (above) as well as Revolution, Patriot, Liberty, Independence and the others named for the anniversary of the American Revolution. All are consistently top performers in my southern New England garden beds. My soil is slightly acidic sandy loam, they're planted in partial shade and unless climate change delivers a nasty surprise or two, we receive sufficient rainfall and/or snow each year to sustain them....See MoreQuotes 7 - 22 - 17 page 2 lighter
