I had a bowl of oatmeal with chia seeds and milled flax seeds.....topped with a touch of brown sugar and milk, and a glass of orange juice.

Same most every day. I make my own 100% whole wheat organic bread, which I top with peanut butter and jelly. On alternate weekends we splurge with pancakes or french toast with fresh fruit and real maple syrup. Maybe once a week, DH makes me an egg scrambled with mushrooms and veggies.

I was running a little behind this morning and stopped by McDonalds and got a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel

Poached eggs and toast this morning. Had a contractor coming between 8am and 9am., so I had to get up early and I didn't want to be in the middle of a big breakfast in case he came.

1/4 cup yogurt (I bought the 2% fat Face by mistake, so I am not eating thee whole cup at once.)

Before my run I had a banana, water and 1/2 cup of coffee. After my run, toasted course rye bread with a piece of swiss cheese between 2 slices.

Plain Greek yogurt with granola and fresh blueberries.

Heavily grained bread with mozzarella cheese, half an avocado, hardboiled egg grilled in a panini maker. Bowl of strawberries, blueberries, black berries, raspberries and watermelon. Coffee.

Yoghurt nearly every day! Boring but good.

Coffee, heavy on the non-dairy unflavored creamer and a banana around noon. I don't eat breakfast, but will if its an extremely rare occassion going out to breakfast. I know its an important meal but the thoughts of food in the morning makes me ill. I've always been this way.

Am I understanding? No breakfast and a banana for lunch?

mamapinky0: I don't usually eat breakfast much either. I am the same way. If I eat breakfast I will feel sick all day. I will only eat breakfast on the rare occasion when I am actually hungry.

I seldom miss breakfast but most of the time do not eat an evening meal.

Kind of embarrassing to admit....I had a sausage on a stick, wrapped in a pancake with fake blueberries. It wasn't good but was edible. I need a quick something to eat in the morning because I have to hit the floor running to take care of the animals and I am always looking for something I can stick in the microwave. I got it last night at Kroger. I knew for a dollar (two in the package!) it wouldn't be good....but I thought, what the heck? I wish I had Lily's breakfast....minus the egg.

I grabbed an egg/veggie "muffin" out of the freezer and nuked it before heading to the fitness center, then made a green drink in the Nutribullet when I got back.

I make a dozen of the egg things every week for a quickie breakfast. The green drinks (I call them sludgies) are made of handfuls of dark greens, with a good helping of whatever fresh or frozen fruit I have on hand. I may add grains, nuts, yogurt, and/or protein powder, too.

I don't eat breakfast or lunch, been that way for years. I only have a cup of coffee in the morning.

I'm not diabetic but skipping breakfast messes up my blood sugar.

Jcbrwn..yep thats how it was no breakfast and a banana for lunch. I know this is very unhealthy for all people and even worse for this old lady. my doc told me I get sick if I eat breakfast because my body is not used to eating than so my brain sends signals and boom I don't feel well. Hes told me to try a few bites of something light and work my way slowly to a real breakfast. I suppose I should try..its getting pretty cold tonight and I plan putting steel cut oats in the crock pot for the boys breakfast. I'll try some.

I had "breakfast" a couple hours ago. Leftover chicken, heartland grain bread and fresh fruit. Surprisingly good for leftovers.
