Pool closed due to severe weather system this morning. Will rise and shine tomorrow.

On Saturday I did a challenging 2 hour trail run and yesterday a light one. Today was a strength class, walking my nieces dog and then just errands.

I'm home, and sadly didn't do really well at the beach. We went out to eat only twice and I did have grilled amberjack so that wasn't bad, but the key lime pie was not so good (actually it was wonderful, that was the problem). We did have fresh fruit and salad with each meal and I avoided fried foods all week, but I did break down and have a wine cooler on the beach at night. Managed to get lots of exercise walking up and down the beach. They have dredged sand and replaced most of the beach and it was just full of shells. We collected 30 each of 5 kinds and 20 of another for SIL's sisters 2nd grade class. We got many, many others but not enough for each student, so those will go on a display for the room. It was actually hard to get into the water for the shells on the beach. By Wed most of them had been covered with sand and you could walk better, so we did. Laura you seem to be doing so very well. I'm proud of you. Keep up the good work. Isn't Splenda the greatest stuff!! Glassquilt, you sound like me. When I worked for the Air Force I would fix at least 10 cups of coffee a day, and only get to drink 1 or 2. But mine was mostly just an excuse to get up from my desk for a while. How did you do Jennifer? Did you make it thru the week? There are many books available to help with the calorie counting and the diet organizer is a really good aid too. You can put in your own recipes if you want and it will figure the calories for you. Way to go scraphappy. Only 7 more pounds. I do hope the other 3 didn't find you. I do find it easier to take my own snacks. Those fast food ones are killers. I guess I need to weigh and see just how bad I was last week. I'll check back in later. beverly

I know Glenda, so did a few others. But the overall response just didn't happen. There aren't that many that brag about their exercise, or not that many that do any. I know you still swim/exercise, and think, that you know I still ride, and do a weight workout. I also added walking to my regimen. Moni

The bike Mel rides is actually harder to do! Pushing forward without having gravity on your side as you do in regular biking. Kudos! Moni, you look fit and professional as always. I have been having trouble with my foot for 6 months. Nothing can be done, just have to wait for it to heal. In the meantime, I still go to my weight training classes, I just modify when my foot comes in to play. It has been raining lately, so no walks with the dog! We take him on car rides to ward off the boredom.

Between running, strength-gym work and walking the dog, I'm exercising every day. Last Sunday we did a two hour trail run through a canyon and didn't hit any snow but we were scrambling over some downed trees which were victims of our horrible winter.

I walked two miles this morning. Was supposed to go workout, but got sidetracked. Will work out tomorrow.

I had a setback because of my previously fractured ankle, but things are looking better today. I'm on track for 10,000 steps today.

I finally went to the gym yesterday, but only did arms. I went to the Chiro today and I don't have to see him for 2 weeks. I'm looking at some classes that I want to do at the gym and will start off easy.

I got a second wind last night and did two more miles for a total of four miles for the day. I did one mile this morning.

LOL, eld, I said, I rode just now! and yes, it was just 12 miles, as I am used to doing more.. cept lately. ;)

Tuesday, just finished another loop around the lake. Again, 12 miles. ;)

Moving mulch for an hour so far. Have not done any of the usual exercises for weeks now, but moving a fence, staining 100s of feet of fence, planting ,etc. I think counts as exercise. There is a very small window of nice cool mornings to do heavy garden work, and that needs to get finished.

5.5 mile running route today. I don't carry a step counter. I own one, maybe I should...? My GF is walking with me tomorrow....she doesn't run any of it...so it will take longer, but she is sooooooooo darn happy/good company!

I do around 6.2 miles a day. Already did 1.2 in the yard, now I'm walking the dog for three miles, then the gym for two on the treadmill.

I walked two miles last night and two this morning. Still hoping to make it to the gym this week. Lol! I have a lot of daily disruptions.

I walked after school today for about 30 minutes with friends. After the tornado warning, the rain subsided, so friends and I were able to walk after school today. We walked for about 30 minutes before the rain commenced. Did my stretches this morning, too. Hoping to go to yoga class tomorrow morning.
