My mandarine tree is suffering
Comments (5)That makes sense. I was gone for a week and had someone water my potted trees. That was when my tree began to look different. It could be that it was not watered enough. When I returned, I gave my trees a good drink. It is difficult to overwater because the soil is very porous. That could be the reason. Thank you very much for all the feedback....See MoreHelp Quickly Mandarin is Dying!
Comments (14)Just like no 2 snowflakes look a like no 2 potting jobs are identical no matter how hard we try . Sometimes the soil settles differently at the bottom of the pot . Sometimes we add more soil and compact it down more than another. Sometimes the holes get blocked at the bottom .Sometimes just the way we place the roots can make a difference. There are many different reasons why one plant might do better than another. If it was mine I would be very curious to see what was going on below the soil line. It sounds to me you have nothing to loose if you feel your going to loose your tree. Brian...See Morehybrid mandarin lime has suddenly started dying

Comments (6)Three trees, a year and a half old, as to variety I just know they should be a lemon and mandarin trees (as I said earlier I planted them from a fruit seed so I cannot tell more about their variety). My location - western Ukraine, a country in eastern Europe Soil - loam Containers - one ceramic and two plastic but they are too small for these trees so I'll be replanting them into bigger ones. All of them had those yellow lesions on leaves so I cut those leaves three days ago, and nothing since then. I suspect it could be Citrus canker but all articles I read say there's no cure except getting rid of the infected plant. One of three has leaves in form of a boat which I suspect to be Citrus chlorotic dwarf virus but I didn't find out how to treat it. So, my questions are 1. will trees survive this? 2. is it ok when two trees haven't got any twigs? and 3. since they are on the window sill near other house plants, those plants spores are on tree leaves, is it harmful?...See Moreuncle molewacker z9b Danville CA (E.SF Bay)
