Comments (2)what is the 6th largest city in MI???? and please.. if you are going to trap ... do not move them and make them someone else's problems .... i understand they taste just like chicken .... some feral cats will helps.. as will a dog or two with a radio collar .... fence a nursery to put your plants in .. until you can get control of the rabbits .... if that is possible ... i moved from livonia to adrian .. and quickly learned about country living ..... rabbits.. moles.. voles.. field mice.. deer .... chipmunks ... oh for the love of god ... lol .... as i worked through each predator.. i was surprised how few there actually where .... one mole nearly destroyed a half acre of lawn ... go figure... three chippies nearly destroyed a couple hundred hosta ... etc .... bottom line.. you have to become the master of your domain .... be ruthless .... you will be adding more to the biosphere than you remove.. so don't beat yourself up over it .... and remember.. you can hire people to do it, if you cant .... good luck ken PS: Disney warped two generations of youth with that propaganda about all those cute little creatures ... they are vermin .. plain and simple .... i think you understand that now .......See MoreMy poor Lil' Buddy (dog) has lost his voice!
Comments (5)I would be more prone to think he strained his vocal cord than damaged his trachea. While he does wear a collar,it's loose and he's never, ever tied.None of mine are,we have a fenced in yard with a doggy door.So they go in and out as they please. He seems a little better this morning,he's not squeaking anyway! LOL! He's still hoarse though. And he doesn't like his medicine! But he took it for me.It's liquid so easy to get him to take it.He's such a funny little dog,he's my clown out of the 5 of them! Now the other 4 have to go get their shots,it's that time of year...we will make 2 trips to the vet,2 at a time. It's easier that way....See MoreMy Little Dog (Warning: About a little dog I once had)
Comments (29)Hi CB! Sure.. this is the latest version I do, it's so very flexible. 28 oz whole tomatoes 4 oz pickled jalapenos 2 cloves garlic handful of cilantro juice of 1 lime 1 tsp oregano salt to taste Put all ingredients in a food processor and pulse to the texture you desire. I puree the stuff very thin as that seems to be what I find served around here. Again, the recipe is very elastic so if it' a little too spicy cut back on the jalapenos and vice versa. I will throw in a bell pepper or a few banana peppers if I get the urge etc.... Make it what you like. :)...See MoreLoose Dog Attacked My Dog- Help With Advice
Comments (52)Remy continues to improve and is about 90% "himself". He went for a walk this morning, and I'd even say he was jaunty ;-) Another good sign is that he's barking at all things that pass by the front of our house. He's still on Rimadyl for a couple more days, and of course is finishing out his antibiotics. The wounds are healing nicely, with the largest one still weeping a bit, but that one was really gaping. Remy's getting lots of love and attention (and home cooked meals), and is able to sleep on the bed with us again. I think that has been really helpful for him to do his normal nocturnal snuggling. Thanks for all the well wishes! Stitches removed in a few days....See More- 9 years ago
