Hostas Coming on Quickly This Year

We had some above average temps, 60s (15C) and a few days in the 70s (21C) so the hostas are coming up early. A welcome sight except we have about six weeks until our average last frost date. I'm always optimistic we'll stay warm, but I couldn't help noticing the laugh from my neighbor when I hoped out loud that our cold weather is over.

Satisfaction near the house so it's always up early.

Victory is another near the house. I count 11 eyes so should be a good show this year.

This one wants to unfurl as fast as the eyes come up.

Teaspoon is spreading like crazy. I should have moved its sign, and I can see it swallowed up a crocus near the back.
Aren't the colors pretty?

And just because... the gold finches are coloring up to attract their mates in spring.
