Great Blue Heron in my yard
Comments (8)Just checked out your Feral Forest Facebook page. Wonderful photos and very informative. I will go back and look at all your albums. Keep up the good work. As to GBH, fantastic bird! Love these! I see one occasionally on my 1.6 acre rural property near my creek (obviously) but have never had the camera with me at the time. I did catch one on film a few years ago sitting atop my neighbour's shed. Absolutely stunning creatures! When in Florida, walking along the beach, they are so used to people, I could walk right up to it - about 5 feet away to take pics. Love these majestic birds!...See MoreGreat Blue Heron
Comments (2)They have such a distinctive profile in flight. You'd be amazed at how good they are at finding ornamental ponds - I've had them visit my little puddle!...See Moregreat blue heron white morph
