Please help with Entry hall

Really like the idea of the table in this pic. We have 2 curved areas. The widest a round table could be is 42" but worried it would overwhelm the space. Lots of height.
Any help most appreciated.

The way your wall bumps out it's doubtful that a round table will work there. It would need to be pretty small.

Get a large piece of kraft paper and cut a big circle to see how that would fit. Then, if it's too big, keep cutting the circle down. Use a pencil tied to a long string as a make-shift compass to make a round circle.

What is the furniture piece in the lower left corner? Could that move to make room if the round table sticks out?

Not sure a large round table will work in that space given the bump out in the middle. You might be better off with two small chairs facing each other with a small table inbetween.

That's a lot of oak trim. There are a lot of web sites about selecting colors with oak trim, but I find this picture particularly appealing...maybe a color along these lines would work for you.

This hallway requires simplicity. Remove everything from the hall and start over. Get rid of dried and silk flower arrangements. They catch dust and spiders. You only need one bench by the door. You may want a console table with a lamp. Anything else is superfluous. Good advice to remove the chair rail and paint hallway one color. Two rugs would help to break up the space. Choose runners that are simple in design. I know that it's hard to undo work that was just completed. But, it was a bad move to hang all that stuff on the walls. It creates a cramped, claustrophobic dynamic. I don't mean to be unkind, but the furniture or wall hanging with anything written on it, such as the bench with Farmhouse stenciled on it, needs to be painted over or put in the garden. The stenciling phase has long since passed. The great news is you have plenty to work with to create a useful, welcoming space to your home. You just need to edit it.

What is your style/style of your furnishings? Is the staircase fixture the same as the entry fixture? If it is, and you like that finish/style, a quick fix would be to get rid of the boob light in the hallway and move the staircase fixture to the hallway. If you want different fixtures altogether, choose a semi-flush mount fixture for the entry and the flush mount version of the same fixture for the hallway. Then pick out a larger complimentary pendant or chandelier for the staircase.

I'd put a small table in the niche closer to the stairs, and pair it with a barrel-backed chair on the right. The bump-out in the middle radically changes the options here. None of these photos is an exact parallel, but you get the idea. I think you could still use a round table with flowers and so forth, but a lot smaller than your first vision.
