Help IDing bird call?

Hello! There's a bird call being heard on the Decorah Eagles webcam in NE Iowa, heard but not seen. A distinct 3-note call/song. Any ideas? All suggestions appreciated.

Okay, I went over it again and again, and I think catherinet has it - a Tufted Titmouse. The second sound, under Songs in the provided link, it is exactly, to my ears. Thank you both so much!

I've helped prairiefirewind with bird IDs in the past, but this song has me stumped. The call comes just after Mom Decorah's first squeeing, very near the beginning and ending at the 39 second mark. Need Help Id'ing Some Birds

Hi Rachel, Sorry - I live in eastern Massachusetts, 7 miles north of Boston and I live in a suburb with a little wooded area bordering my backyard, and a wildlife reservation and ponds about 1/2 a mile away (I am very fortunate!). It has been very cold here the last few days and we got our first dusting of snow yesterday. I have seen different kinds of birds here within a mile of the house - woodpeckers, hawks, swans, geese, the common feeder birds, we even have a heron who flies back and forth over our neighborhood every day - so we do get a variety of birds. We definitely do have house sparrows, but these little guys I saw yesterday were not those. They were just about a solid brown from where I could see. No striping or definitive marks. They just hopped around eating stray sunflower seeds. I've gone through photos of species, both genders and juvenile appearances, on the internet and in my books, and I am not sure what this bird was. The only even remote possibilities I could come up with were: field sparrow; junco; and female indigo bunting. If you have thoughts on this I would be most appreciative. Thanks, Donna P.S. The eagle calling is great!

I'm not good at bird calls, but the (non-eagle) call sounds almost like a Carolina Wren.

We have House Wrens in IA and I'm familiar with their call. Had a wren house outside my bathroom window when I lived out in the country. They are so talkative! I don't believe this is a wren on the audio, but thank you!

The House Wren has a very different call from the Carolina Wren, as you can hear if you listen on the Cornell site.

That could well be a titmouse, catherinet, although I have a personal bias for the Carolina wren (I like Carolina wrens).

Those eagles are wonderful!

I have lots of titmice here and lots of carolina wrens. The wren does, some times of the year, sound a bit like the titmouse, but still different. The titmice and carolina wrens are really loud here now, so I'll try to catch one in the act and make sure it's what I think. But I'm already pretty sure. Yes, those eagles are incredible!

Those Titmouse babies can sure be loud too! I do love the Carolina wrens too. I find their nests in the funniest places. They never used to be around here, now they're here year-round.
