I remember them. There was a lady I used to correspond with...can't remember her name right now. She died from cancer. Red Confetti. I think that was her name. Grandma Bonnie. Nancy....so many more.

Not a very old timer, but certainly a colorful person. She signed off as your resident DJ. I don't remember her name. She had some interesting stories.

I miss Patti all the time. I ran across some of her recipe threads recently searching for something. Yes it's sad to lose people at the table.

Do any of you remember Vetaal? I've often wondered if she survived her cancer. As I recall...she was scheduled for some rather innovative chemo treatments and scared...as we all might be. I hoped she would win but to my knowledge...we never heard the results.

I remember Vetaal too,Anne-Granlan is gone about 3 yrs this spring I believe.

And Dottie! remember those stories!!!!

Pooh Bear passed from this life a few months ago.

I visited him several years ago .. and several here asked for pictures but, with camera beside us on the table - we hadn't taken any.

Thanks to Nita AZ for the many gatherings around our countries that she instigated.

One, here in London, was on the day at the beginning of summer when the old guys at church close their year's coffee hours by taking their wives out to dinner ... and their noses were out of joint a bit when I dragged my feet about it ... till I found that their dinner was at noon ... and Nita's inspired gathering (which is were I met Jasdip) was to be at 2.

The lady, who knew everyone in the village and area, who often went with me, died a few months ago. One year both she and son's partner's mother, recently moved to our area, went as my guests, which caused a bit of a stir. My long-term friend, who came from a different direction had, as usual, driven herself, and I'd picked up the newcomer ... but, as they lived near one another, my long-term friend took the other lady home.

Tell those whom you love of their importance to you today ... or soon ... as they (or you) may not be able to, down the road a piece.

I really miss Dotmom and (I think it was her daughter-in-law) dirt_y_fingernails or something like that, both of whom succumbed to fast growing cancer, and of course Granlan. We communicated a number of times.

I have often wondered about Gale. She use to post quite a lot.

Jenny from CA and her daughter Steph w/her 2 kids. I really would like updates on all of them. And catlady used to post occasionally. So many, many missing.

I also remember Wildchild, I'm sure she posts elsewhere. Oh, and Ron's wife BigBaby.

I sometimes wonder about Rosemary, the person who worked on Sears houses and had an interesting story of a great aunt (or other relative) who may have been murdered. Anyone remember that?

It seems to me that a lot of people left or changed their handles when this site became Houzz. I've been here since 2000--a long time now. I changed my handle 2-3 times over those many years usually because something screws up with my registration and it is easier just to start anew.

I was wondering about chubbyrat one day.....she posted often and is missed.

I sure do miss TrinityTX--what a lovely person she was. :(
