best pre-rinse faucet
Comments (2)I just installed my new Ikea Hjuvik "pre-rinse" faucet and am very disappointed. The spray pressure is horrible - it's no better than a regular side spray. I'm getting rid of it - going to sell it as "almost new" and hopefully get a decent portion of my money back - and buying a REAL pre-rinse, which is what I'd wanted in the first place, but when I was buying fixtures (two years ago, lots of delays) there were no commercial units that would fit in a home kitchen. T&S Brass recently came out with a "Mini Pre-Rinse" line that's *exactly* what I'd been looking for. They're real, commercial pre-rinse faucets, just cut down to fit in a residential kitchen and with a regular faucet added on so you can use it as a regular faucet as well. I'm going to be switching out for one.. I have used real pre-rinses in commercial kitchens and they're just amazing. The spray heads don't use any more water than a regular sprayer, but they just BLAST food off dishes. This does mean that they'll get the backsplash wet.. but that's what it's there for, right?...See Moreutility faucet with pre rinse sprayer
Comments (5)I would also like the handle to be on the front where drips go in the sink when I turn it off with wet hands. This last picture is with a stand alone commercial sprayer mounted directly on the counter. I guess there needs to be a part that connects the faucet to the sprayer. What is it called? I want to make sure I have all the parts on site when the plumber comes. (I live in a very small town and there are no stores around.) So is this something that can be done? Is it better to have the faucet and sprayer as one finished piece? Is it better to buy a regular one holed, one handle faucet and put the sprayer on the counter? I think the hose would be out of the way if the sprayer had it's own hole in the countertop. Suggestions? Thanks, peke...See Moreutility faucet with pre rinse sprayer

Comments (4)The thing is I already bought Kraus KPF-1602, it hasn't been installed yet. I just see that people complain about the sprayer pressure. So I'm hesitating to install. If I could find a similar faucet I would return it. I just don't know what to get....See Morebpath
