Software for Plant Database on a Mac or iPad

Hello Masters - I am hopeful someone in this forum can direct me to a computer program, app or software which can allow me to build my own vision of a database for organizing the plants in my garden. A spreadsheet will not do. I want it to be an inte-relational data base with records of plants that allows 'look-up' of plants by genus, species, solar requirements, soil drainage, zone, etc. Plus a place to insert photos, geographic position in my yard, propagation history, etc. Yes I am a collector, Just wondering if any one out there is aware of such a program. I have used Filemaker Pro but it is more technical than I need too expensive. I'm not excited about Microsoft Access, 'been with Mac too long. Thanks for any help. Madlyn
