New Microsoft phone scam

I am ready to go postal on these jerks. At least 2 to 3 calls per hour since early this afternoon. Caller ID shows New York and a phone number. We do not answer but it triggers the answer machine. It is an automated voice saying that all of my Microsoft licenses have expired and are now terminated and all my computers will stop working right away. You must call this number immediately to stop them shutting down the computers.

Now I don't know who would be stupid enough to fall for this. I mean just go use your computer and you know they are working just fine.

But the number of times they called me over and over again. We finally left to go have dinner. Come home to my answering machine saying I have messages! All from my scammed buddies.

I need to find out how to block a number! I am sure they use a rotating number system.

So be ready for them to call you too. In every case the caller ID information said New York.
