Nothing! I'm so excited. We don't have to get up at 3:15AM on a Saturday to get ready and drive to downtown Nashville, then Chattanooga, as an example, for a robotics competition. Woohoo! State isn't until April. Sleeping in.

It's 48º with the sun shining. That is fantastic for us in mid February. Hopefully the ice surrounding my house and garage will leave this weekend!

We're going to be in the upper 50's this weekend, sun should be shining. We're going to pick up branches and clear some brush. We will have a bonfire and then we are grilling brats on Sunday. This weather is so nice for February. We should be very cold and I should be inside sewing.

It's raining today but I think Saturday and Sunday will be nice. Then a big rain on Monday. No special plans, except I have a pet food donation to pick up tomorrow. I would like to clean Val up....he is very muddy today. And take update pics of him and ride a little. Jody came home last night and brought a ton of dirty clothes, so laundry is in my future, and always house work, and work to do outside.

This happens to be a long weekend for some Canadians. A provincial holiday on Monday. Hubby is doing daily radiation now, and the patients get a few days grace.

The temperatures are climbing to near double-digit °C so he wants to wash the car and clean the heck out of on the inside, which it badly needs.

I'm making Anglophilia's Angel food cake that she posted, and we're probably going to have friends over for dinner. I haven't heard which day suits them the best yet.

Saturday night I'm going with friends to a concert about an hour away - the band is "Harmonia", Gypsy and Eastern European music. And it's a two hour concert for free! We are all from small towns and don't get many chances to see and listen to good music thus have to drive a distance most times.

Dh got 2x3 cement slabs I'm installing as steps on the side of the house. Re-hanging window coverings now I'm done painting. Installing glass fireplace doors. Getting ready to list the house "For Rent".

I love Rob's plans ... nothing. I will probably do some cooking, but not much. Also plan on finishing my taxes so I can get copies made and mail them in next week. I'm having about the same weather as Sue in IN. I'm loving it. We've had more than enough rain here in my part of Ohio. Shirley

I am driving to Pa tomorrow just for the day. I'll visit with my youngest daughter and her boyfriend. Probably have lunch out and maybe do a little shopping. I definitely want to visit with the grand dog and I haven't seen her for a while.

Cooking and cleaning.....I have friends coming for dinner on Sunday.

Getting ready for our first 2017 jaunt, a five-day visit to Monterey/Carmel/PacGrove, CA. On the good side: we missed visiting in 2016 (remodeling aftermath) so we have reservations at all our fav restaurants.

On the bad side: it's supposed to raining hard on the day we leave, and driving in the rain for two hours is NOT fun! Oh, well.....weather rpts say the end of the week should be sunny so fingers crossed. Driving back we will hit rush hour commute traffic and rain would make it really horrendous!

I'll be doing the same thing for the next 4 to 6?days..working outside in my yard in this glorious weather..I had as much fun today as if I went to Disneyworld..

We're staying overnight in Novi, MI; attending a family wedding in Windsor tomorrow.

We are supposed to get a break in storms tomorrow, so we are planning on cleaning up storm debris, cutting up some downed trees and stacking them in a pile until we have time to cut them into firewood. No shortage of firewood around these part this year!

Sometimes this weekend, I'm going to pick up the aloe vera plant that my neighbor took care of for me while we were on vacation. I also have gift for her that I bought in Costa Rica.

Laundry and housecleaning on Sunday. If it's done early enough, studio time for the rest of the day!

I don't have to do anything today either. :0) In BC our family day is the 2nd day in February. I'm not sure why. I'm going to buy books at my local Value village thrift store and cut the dogs' hair as they're looking like scruffy nerff herders though. :)

I slept in and have already cleaned my container ponds and filters today. A bit stinky and a dirty job, but it's warm and sunny today!

Later I'll do my grocery shopping and plan to pot up some plants for a plant swap in April. Nice relaxing weekend!

Ironing...if I can get myself motivated! Did make it to pulmonary rehab and the gym this AM!

DH & I picked up some groceries this morning and did some meal planning as we went through the supermarket. Cod for supper tonight. This afternoon was spent updating our wills in preparation for a meeting this week with our lawyer. Not the most pleasant task. On Sundays we have a tradition of going out for lunch. It's supposed to be about 50 tomorrow. We're going to drive to Provincetown and find a place to eat, although some of our favorite spots are closed for the season. It's a beautiful town to walk around.

I had planned to sleep all day in preparation for my 12 hour shift tonight....but as I had to work a couple days shifts for someone else,I slept like a rock all night and couldn't sleep today. So I made some scented wax cubes, rearranged the pantry,gave the 5 dogs a bath,and did a couple loads of laundry. Then I got ready for work. I'm sitting at mccalisters waiting for my to go order then I'm gonna head to work. I have a feeling that it's gonna be a loooooooooong night,and around midnight I will start to suffer. But the bright side is,I know I will sleep like a comatose rock tommorow, thus resetting my sleep schedule back to normal,until later this week,when it will get messed up again. I need a pan of brownies right about now.
