The cost will depend upon how far your run is, if you already have an ejector pit with a 2" ejector pump plus whether you want a 2-piece or 3-piece install. Can you do any of the work yourself? I haven't installed the bathroom in our basement yet but when I do, I will break out the floor and supply the PVC. Plumber said $800 to install including patching the floor. Ours will be about a 15 foot run.

I was mistaken, there are actually two shut offs for the water, and one for the gas, so we ended up putting in suspended gysum board panels, it looks really nice, and doesn't look drastically different from the painted drywall on the other half of the ceiling. I guess they were too far apart just to do an access panel? We also had the Nutone Model #9093WH installed, and I'm so glad we spent more to do that. Even the electrician said it was nice, and I'm sure he's seen it all. We are now in the process of tiling, it's finally starting to look like a bathroom!

You shouldn't tile directly on Dricore because you need a tile underlayment. But you can put Ditra on top of the Dricore and tile over that. That's what I'd do in your bathroom, to keep the floors level throughout your basement. Oh, and Ditra does nothing to warm up the tile.

Not only are they expensive, there is a long list of code requirements to be met, and in most instances if your house has a 3" main drain and sewer line you cannot meet code.
