Jeans and knit top

I am a jeans or sweat pants and tee shirt lover here. Comfort!

Black sweat pants with an elastic waist and my favorite sweatshirt. I don't like the drawstring waist ones.

I bought the sweatshirt at a garage sale for 50 cents about 20 years ago. It used to be pink, and I cut the sleeves off above the elbow. The MOST comfortable, soft and warm sweatshirt I have ever had. Doesn't look too good, though.

Jeans and t-shirt and sweatshirt and new balance shoes. Comfort all the way daily.

Sweat pants with elastic waist (I've got to be free) elastic around leg hem. Zip up hoodies with sports bra (again I gotta be free) and sleeveless tee under it in case it should come unzipped and everything falls out..slip on Sketcher Go Walks. Now I do know how to dress if need be for public functions, I clean up well I've been told. LOL.

Lucille I have some cropped pants for spring and summer but they arnt the exercise type, those I do want to get for my walks. They look so comfy.

Ummmm, a little lazy here the last few years. Most days you would find me in skinny black pants or skinny black jeans, Tommy Bahama Aruba 1/4 Zip shirt, dansko clogs - winter and summer in this mild climate. I have that shirt in every color but pink (which I don't wear), and duplicates in some colors where I've found them on sale and put them away. Dressing takes no thought at all ;0)

DH likes the Aruba shirts too, and he has enough if we're going to friends or to Costco or something he'll ask me which color I'm wearing. He doesn't want us to match and look like part of a bowling team.

Capris or the cropped exercise wear in the summer and jeans or long exercise pants or leggings in the winter. I generally wear a short sleeved blouse or a knit short sleeved top in the summer and pull over sweaters in the winter. I love 3/4 sleeves year around. Used to wear t-shirts and sweatshirts, but I've reached a point where I can't stand necklines that are tight around my neck/throat so they are out. Usually wear a pretty camisole instead of a bra. Many of them these days have lace accents and built-in shelf bras. I have an old rib injury and if I wear a traditional bra for an extended period of time the elastic band around my rib cage causes discomfort and pain.

every fall wm gets in the womens dept, straight leg sweats and I buy a matching zippered top and call them my "suits"...have to replace one, as I was getting something wiped up and splashed bleach on the pants! grrr thank goodness they're not expensive...

Dawn, wish I didn't need a bra, but I could get a pedicure and a mammogram at the same time..so ya I need a bra :P

I found some soft cropped pats at WalMart, and bought several pair. I pair them with a tank top or racer back top. I wish I didn't need a bra neither. I'm like you mamapinky. LOL

I've started wearing and loving leggings although will only wear them at home. I'm not out of shape but at age 66 people don't need to see the exact outline of my legs. Hubby likes it though! I also make sure to always wear a top that's long enough to cover my butt.

To go off the property for appointments, shopping, etc. I wear a pair of skinny jeans and a casual top. I'm all about casual.

I dress for comfort on a daily basis. Unless I have some reason to dress up. I wear cropped yoga Capris in summer and warm weather and in the few cold days I wear yoga pants or jeans, lots of short sleeve t's and tops. Skechers in lots of styles and colors. I like sports bras but I now must have front close bras. If it gets cold, rarely, I have some very warm comfy sweats and fleece. I don't think I own a dress any more. I love very comfortable stretchy pj's. My cashmere are my top pick.

Jeans, long sleeved T-shirt and jean blazer type jacket.

Jean shorts and men's camp shirt (can't find women's camp shirts that fit properly anymore--if I want to be able to move my arms).

My favorite outfit for winter is a pair of black velveteen pants and a long tunic top. I could wear those pants seven days a week. They look good even after several washings and are so comfortable!

At this time of year, I live (at home) in soft cotton Henley tees or lightweight wool blend pullover sweaters, all bought in the men's dept. at Target. Why men's? Because they are loose fitting but not oversized, not see-through thin, cost less than the equivalent in the women's dept., and are mostly cotton and wool which the women's didn't seem to have. Plus colors that I liked! I also have an oversized wool pullover sweater, brown tweed, from the Limited that goes over all on really cold days -- love that sweater. For pant, like the rest of you, I favor yoga pants or my French terry sweats, heavy sweats for cold days. For errands, I have a nice pair of black pull-on jeans from Macy's, a favorite red cable knit sweater, and my sheepskin boots.

In warm weather it is pretty similar, usually a simple tee with chinos and Keds.

I wear jeans and tee shirts if I go somewhere....at home, I wear whatever. I don't know what y'all are calling cropped pants. Are you talking about those kind of knit pants that come down below your knees? Like people would exercise in? If so, I have some of those and I wear them around here. I may wear a sports bra if I go somewhere, but it comes off as soon as I get home. I wear Crocs at home, usually and if I go somewhere I have a pair of suede slip on shoes that I wear that are actually men's shoes but are comfortable and when I have them on with jeans, they resemble boots. I spent $350 at the vet and farrier last week. For what I paid for my horse's shoes, I could buy my "wardrobe" several times over. Almost all my clothes are used. I just don't care about clothes at all....but I am getting ready to spend $165 to buy a new saddle pad.

I don't know what y'all are calling cropped pants. Are you talking about those kind of knit pants that come down below your knees?

Yes, that is what I have. Old Navy had a sale of their high rise compression sports crops so I bought some. I like them because they are comfortable and stay in place no matter what I'm doing, no riding up or inching down whether I'm bicycling or gardening or whatever I'm doing.

Around the house, I am living in some sweat pants that I got from Sears last end of season for $3! I love them, high waist with pockets and just the right length. Around the house, I wear my older tee shirts because I am busy working, cleaning and cooking etc. and I usually get something on the front of the shirt so this way I just don't worry about it. When we go out, I typically wear jeans and a solid tee type shirt. As soon as I get home, I'm getting out of those "fancy clothes" into something comfortable! HA!

Jeans and sweatshirts in winter, shorts and t-shirts in summer. Carhart work pants and boots for work, running clothes. And a sports bra under all of it. Trying to think of the last time I wore a dress ...

My September to May uniform is jeans (elastic waist) colorful socks and anyone of 9 sweatshirts just like this one except for color. Our Boscov's store has carried this exact shirt for 4 years and I love them. I need to be warm and want something that doesn't expose much neck. I don't know who is wearing all those open/loose necked tops that are advertised in store fliers.

Mamapinky0 I can relate. We consider our shape that of an upside down bowling pin. It comes from my mom. Her legs were so tiny when she was young she could double cross them. All six of her kids, myself and her 5 sons are the same way. No hips, no things just straight and thin. We've always likened it to our native American blood. As we get older the legs get even smaller. Leggings look great, jeans are tough.

I like cropped pants too. I have one pair for exercise at the gym, and one outdoor-store pair that I like for "good". But they seem so expensive to me -- it's less material so shouldn't it be cheaper? Yeah, I guess it doesn't work like that, lol.

A lot of the sports clothes are made from fancy sports materials that supposedly wick out and evaporate sweat, maybe that is why they are costly?

It may be worthwhile, I'll find out this summer I guess; I know that in previous Texas summers when I spent a good portion of the day outdoors doing some garden project, my denim jeans/shorts and 100% cotton Ts would end up unpleasantly clammy and damp with sweat because the cotton would absorb and hold it.

For everyday wear during the winter, jeans and a sweatshirt is what I prefer to wear since I easily get chilled. For summer wear, I like capris or cropped pants and a short sleeved tee or other casual top. Comfort and practicality is what I aim for, no glamour here!

Shorts and tee shirt in the summer, jeans and sweater or warmer top in the winter. I'm very short, so I have a lot of crop pants. They fit me perfectly as long pants, and I don't have to hem them.

Jeans year round. Skinny or boot cut. No granny or mom jeans. Long or short sleeved tees, usually unisex. Some sweatshirts. Boots in winter, flip flops or sandals rest of the year. Done.

Winter: jeans, sweatshirt and hand knit wool socks. Summer: same jeans with T-shirt and sneakers. I don't need to "dress to impress" anymore. It's a good thing.
